My coworker and I went during the lunch hour. It was only the two of us for almost the entire time. It took forever for us to get our drinks. Then forever to get our food. Horchata was not good. The food was very dry and bland. Definitely not going again. I asked for no beans, double the rice and it felt like I just had 1 serving of rice. So disappointed.

I had the 3 carne asada tacos but had some minor issues trying to comprehend their menus. My mom ordered the chicken tacos but didn’t quite look like this one pic where it was full of chicken on the taco. Oh well. It’s still ok in my book and can’t complain for the $1 tacos either!

My first time at this restaurant and the food was good. Home made tortillas and salsa was just right. Definitely coming back!

This place is a little hole in the wall. The food is delicious! I tried their Molcajete, all I can say it’s probably the best one I have ever had! Not greasy and very flavorful. Definitely will come back.

We waited for about an hour for our food, so I wouldn’t recommend going on a Sunday for lunch when it’s the busiest. They only had one cook and two waitresses so we tried to be patient. Overall, not the best service but great food. The Oaxaca style horchata was great though it wasn’t cold and we wanted a cold drink for the heat. I would recommend sharing the clayuda since it is really big, unless you are extremely hungry.

This was our first time eating at Oaxaca Restaurant in Selma but it won’t be out last! Everything on the menu looks good! I got a the Tamale Oaxaquenos and I can honestly say it’s one of the best tamales I’ve had in a long time. Not to mention it’s huge and I was able to take a good amount home. My daughter had a chicken burrito with rice and beans and really enjoyed it as well! The staff was very friendly and answered all our questions and the manger was very welcoming! We’ll be back again soon!

My experience was excellent. This place is charming, authentic, and the food is amazing. You will not be disappointed, just try the house made tortillas and the best mole I’ve had outside of Mexico. And the service was the best. Will definitely be coming back!
