I arrived hungry and ready. Inside a small cozy spot with a warm welcoming homey feel, grandmas kitchen. My first time here, and the staff was pleasant in explaining the different types of dishes.

Very disappointed, was so excited to try this place out and all the meat ended up tasting like it was made days before and was reheated that day. nothing tasted as if it was cooked or prepared that day. I got a Birria burrito and all of the meat was fat not to mention the ‘meat’ that was present was very small for the size of the burrito.

Small 9 table unassuming restaurant with homemade menu on wall. Food is good. I had the Birria ( goat ) plate and wife Carne Asada taco. We were happy campers . Parking is in the street. Will drop by again when passing through Oxnard.

I celebrated my nomination yesterday in this delicious restaurant. Well we passed a pleasant evening and the restaurant was evidently one of the reasons for that strong celebration. The stuff contributed in a sweet style, the cuisine was tasty and my buddies were extremely pleased. We shall no dout come back again for more joyful events. thanks very much.

I never take the time to review anything, but I want to be honest and help other not to make the same mistake. Husband and I traveled 30 min to try this restaurant, we made our choice based on the reviews and we were very disappointed. Food wasn’t good at all. Rice tasted old. Food was cold when it got to our table. We regretted spending our Saturday night at this restaurant. Don’t choice this place!

I was expecting something “special”. This is not Mexican food as is typically known in Oxnard. The language on the menu (names of dishes) is interesting. The service is good as both Spanish and English is spoken. The food was a bit bland but not bad, just ordinary.

Authentic Oaxacan cuisine. Very nice people. Place is clean and organized. Food is delicious, especially the giant tamales, they’re definitely on point.
