Curry udon was good, I like that the noodles were super fresh and didn’t take long to prepare, but the broth was a bit salty for me (and I love salt), looking forward to coming back and trying other items !

My first time in Portland and I wanted to try a different twist on Japanese cuisine. The food was phenomenal and well seasoned, the tofu was the best I’ve ever tasted it was so crunchy and crispy but yet light on the inside. Anyone wanting a twist on Japanese and want something new 10/10 recommend coming here.

Delicious and unique food! hangover cure haha. i ate at their spot in the morrison market and am so glad they have their own place now. I really enjoyed the okonomiyaki. the kenchinjiru is a great light soup, very comforting. add the kakiage. the onigiri is a new flavor for my taste buds, but i enjoyed it enough to want to try more flavors. but the best part? the doggie sushi! cody loved it. ❤️

Great atmosphere and unique food! Definitely a great experience. The tofu katsu was delicious and the texure was good and crispy. The udons were great but the onigiri was extremely salty that I have to scrape some stuff out to make it not a salty. But overall I absolutely recommend this restaurant! Payment options were not that obvious, we felt that we had to pay with the QR code but we see other people paying cash.

I was craving chicken katsu one day and I found this place from trying to search Japanese comfort food on google. I definitely didn’t do a lot of research because it was only after being seated and starting to order that I realized their whole menu was vegan. I enjoyed my meal wholly and the texture of their tofu was incredible. It was a very flavorful and rich meal that still felt pretty healthy. Definitely try the tofu katsu, get a cup of soup, especially if you’re going on a rainy day, and maybe get an onigiri to go!

Perhaps the most essential, and final, stop on your tour of Portland’s vegan food. A truly revelatory dining experience. Unforgettable. Great music too. And try the cake.

Friendly service, unique vegan Japanese comfort food, lots of fried things and so many options. Enjoyed the katsu burger but the rice bun was slightly burnt. Our favorite was the okayu special!

I came here with my vegan sister. I typically don’t like a lot of vegan food but I was shocked by how flavorful the food was! We had the Katsu tofu and it was the best tofu I’ve ever had. Honestly, it was all great. The host was friendly, the aesthetic was cute, the service was quick – 10/10 would go again!
