I’m only giving them 3 stars because of the massive 50% price increase to order online. Last month to order a special dinner online was $10.95 now it’s $15.95. Every item has a $4 or $5 up charge if you order online since last month. I have major anxiety calling to place orders so I loved that I could order online but now they penalize you for ordering online and force you to call. I have a hard time understanding then when I call so we just don’t order from them anymore. It’s sad because we do absolutely love their food.

My friend and I went to Ocean Garden for dinner and we were very impressed by the food! The menu had a great variety of options; we decided to order hot and sour soup, beef chow fun, and chicken stir fry. Everything was fresh and super tasty. The restaurant itself was small, cozy, clean, and had plenty of parking. We were also impressed by the service. Both the waiter and hostess/cashier were very friendly. I will definitely be eating here again.

My parent’s food looked good and they enjoyed it. I ordered kung pao chicken gluten free and no starch, which I get at another Chinese place. It came as steamed food, no sauce, no peanuts, no flavor. I tried to ask her about it she wasn’t very nice, or helpful. Plus they bring out 1 meal at a time. I know the others will go back but I won’t.

I’m absolutely flabbergasted that anyone in their right mind could give this food 5 stars. They must have never traveled out of Springfield and be stoned. The local fast food Chinese chain at least tastes good. I feel sick. I opened the Szechuan beef and it was a container almost entirely of onions and we had to dig for any beef. What little beef there was was chewy. The Tso’s chicken tasted frozen nuggets in a BBQ/ketchup sauce. The egg roll was not even in an egg roll wrapper, I don’t know what it was, but it was full of mush. The shrimp was greasy and over battered. Not one thing had flavor. The Chinese in the supermarket across the street is even better than this. This is hands down the worst meal I’ve ever had in my life. I’m trying to call them but keep getting hung up on. Shame on the owners. It’s going in the trash.

This is definitely a place you order to go… the environment is very busy, not relaxing. Expect to spend 20 dollars a person, but get huge portions. They usually use cardboard boxes to hold all your food. For a white guy with little asian cultural experience the Menu seems overwhelming. I guess that means it’s more authentic. Food is really good quality. I enjoy ordering out from here. We usually spend around 70 for the family.

Air conditioning was out on Mother’s Day. It was over 90 degrees inside. My elderly inlaws had to go out to the car right after eating suffering from the heat. It was in the 90’s outdoors but still cooler. It’s a regular favorite place and a strange hot day in May. So they were probably off guard like most people in the area. Felt bad for the owners and cooks working conditions were horrible.
