Everytime we visit, they’re out of something that they’ve listed on the menu. My family and I have gotten the oxtails every time and they don’t give you a good portion of them but will overload your plate with crunchy cabbage and rice & beans.

Yesterday a friend of mine and I visited Ocho Rios Jamaican Restaurant at 4290 South Hwy27, Clermont, Florida 34711. It was a very pleasant experience. The food was very good and reasonably priced. The staff there was extremely kind and friendly. We spent plenty of time there and were not rushed. They are directly across from the Kings Ridge Community and Publix. I would gladly go there again.

Me and my family ordered their Jamaican patties, oxtail, and jerk chicken AND LOVED IT! The service was fast and so polite we got our food in no time. The meat was incredibly flavorful as we loved their oxtail gravy the most. Also, their pepper sauce was spicy but a great addition to the meal. One of my best experiences with Caribbean food so I highly recommend!!

I’ve eaten at a fair share of Jamaican restaurants and this one is like eating home cooked, authentic Jamaican dishes. The beef patties were soft, flakey and filled with beef. The perfect spiciness if you’re going spicy. I had the jerk chicken, peas and rice. Wow! Absolutely mouth watering. This is the way jerk chicken should taste. I highly recommend trying this restaurant. Family friendly, great vibes and amazing food. They’ll definitely see me again!
