This is another review much overdue but I have been a long time fan of Odaly’s since it’s one of the best Cuban diners/hidden gems in Miami! First off, I love the croquetas here that are significantly better than other local spots in the area. Order them and try them, you’ll see exactly what I mean. They’re are much creamier than most and I love the breading they use for them. If you’re a croqueta lover like me then you won’t mind having a couple croquetas and then ordering yourself a CROQUETA BURGER. That’s right! I had never seen one on a menu before so knew I had to try it, and yes, it lives up to all the glorious expectations you have. For the great price of $5 its served on a toasty bun with a house mayo sauce and papitas fritas—all complimenting the large croqueta patty. The patty’s exterior was nice and crispy but the middle wasn’t at al too soft or mushy like you might expect. I would definitely recommend trying it especially since I have no idea who else is making this genius idea!

Sándwich didn’t have the onions like the menu said and didn’t have any sauces or condiments. It was just plain lettuce, tomato, and the fry chips with the steak inside the sandwich. Very plain but their coffees and drinks are nice. Their empanadas are nice too. Not much flavor when it comes to their sandwiches.

Really disappointed in the quality of food. The service was fine with the exception of having some of my order missing. I tried this place because I read the reviews and felt I needed to give it a shot…I was wrong and I feel as if the reviews are inaccurate. There was literally noone in there besides the three employees and the smell of cigarette smoke which is quite disgusting. To be specific, eggs in my sandwich were not salted, bread was not toasted and barely buttered, the ham leaked out some sort of liquid that was cold and the preparation seemed as if no care was involved. Being the only customers in there I would assume that some care might have been put into my food. My wife was I different because she always says, ” what do you really expect…”

Odaly’s Delight Cafe does not look like much when you walk up, it’s what we would call a hole-in-the-wall, I used their catering services for a 90th Birthday celebration, it was the best food we have had catered, everyone love it, the appetizers, and the meal were delicious, everyone at the celebration was raving about it. Chef Hiram is the BEST.
