Went on recommendation of a local for the live music and alleged good food. Typical dive bar with a couple of different rooms. We sat in the back room waiting for the music. Had a mediocre crawfish etouffee that would have fit in the palm of your hand. The gravy was good but the crawfish was mostly overcooked or old, dry and chewy set on a bed of plain white rice. Is that even legal in LA?!

Scotty cooks an amazing steak on Monday nights,… My fiance and I sit in the back, where there is a bar, sufficient staff to take your steak order as well as drink order, your choice of seating, bar or picnic table… (Picnic tables are are strategically placed for a romantic dining with a significant other or a little less formal gathering with close friends with a push button juke box, and a fire place kindled with the soothing smell of oak embers ) OR you also have a more traditional country / Cajun ho-down party choice…. Inside there are tables that seat up to 5 comfortably, a bar that stretches clear across the service area, and directly in the middle is a hardwood dance floor, to accommodate you and your partner’s need to get that weekend cardio in and to show off those latest dance moves. Robert Darby, whom I might add has and will always be there to meet and greet his customers! Always decked out in his crisp ironed western shirt, tightly creased jeans, polished boots, belt buckle and of course, his cowboy hat and his friendliest smile. Before the live band begins to tune up, and does their sound checks, you will notice Rob has his routine “checks” as well… Staff, every one must be on time, ready and focused. on timely delivery of your drinks, acknowledging a customer even if you can not get to them in that exact moment, and always service with a smile! The live entertainment has always been a key attraction for his business, from local musicians who are well known for thier Cajun French lyrics down to the good ol country or rock and roll… Entertainers here love to interact with the costumers.
