I have been here several times and I have ordered a burger every time. These are not ordinary burgers. This time I ordered the Ghost Pepper burger. Not as hot as I thought but very tasty. The waygu beef is fantastic. The black n bleu burger is another great burger. Love the bite of the blue cheese. Great bourbon selection. Friendly staff.

Absolutely amazing! Wonderful food, staff, and atmosphere. We highly recommend the bruschetta trio. As a vegetarian, I was very pleased with the many meatless options. Our server was outstanding. Don’t miss out on this gem!

Ode to Food was something I tried first during the pandemic, and always wanted to go back. They were open for lunch, then stopped serving lunch, and have since started to serve lunch again. I was very pleased to find this out, and a friend and I recently went to try it. The menu is substantial with a variety of delicious sounding sandwich and salad options, as well as a full bar. The IPA on tap was was reasonably priced at $6 a glass. I had their version of a blue cheese burger with bacon with a side of fries, and my friend had their blackened tuna burger with a side caesar salad. Overall, both plates were executed well, and my burger was sizable and topped with delicious crispy onion. A couple of critiques, nothing major, but something that prevented me from pushing the review to five stars: while I did order the burger medium well, it was definitely very well cooked – a note to self to make sure to just say medium next time; and the blackened tuna burger, while seared perfectly was a little strangely a little cold. Regardless, I will definitely be back to try it the future and definitely recommend other to do the same!

South Dakota’s “known-for-food” is chislic (fried veal, pork, or beef), so we tried it out at Ode. It was really tender, and we went with the Asian peanut sauce…probably try the avocado aioli next time. The Cuban was also very well done- recommended place if you’re in town!

Delicious food with high quality ingredients. The burgers were really unique and the crème brûlée was delectable!

A wonderful view sitting out on the patio, very cozy! Our waitress was attentive & friendly. Not to mention patient when I was “customizing” my burger.

The Atmosphere and service were wonderful, but the food was the detractor here. Not that it was bad, it just wasn’t what was expected. Ordered the ‘ghost pepper’ cheese and I swear I’ve had jalapenos be hotter. Ordered 2 medium rare burgers and both came out medium well. The food was still delicious, just not what I was wanting or expecting.

We visited on a Saturday night, they had a gentleman playing light piano in the restaurant, a nice touch! The service is always excellent. I had the ribeye paired with the risotto and baby potatoes. The ribeye while was more on the rare side of medium-rare but it was very tender and delicious. The potatoes were a little plain for my liking, but the risotto was to die for.

I think this is a post Covid average rating. This could be a great place for dinner but don’t expect knowledgeable service or a willingness to make things right if they get it wrong. Beautiful evening to sit outside on the patio. Ordered Trio of Bruschetta which was yummy although the server didn’t know what was the cheese base, saying it was cream cheese. Pretty long wait for the app. I ordered the burger and discussed if I should order it cooked medium or medium rare because I really wanted pink to maybe a touch of red. Server thought medium would be good. It came and was well done. I took a couple bites hoping for the best but it was dry and well done. Decided I’d send it back. After a few minutes, server returned with the same burger and relayed to me that the burger was cooked to temperature. It would be 15-20 minutes for a new burger. I decided I didn’t want to wait and felt the message from management was clear. We were going to order dessert but next table over was served wrong flavor of brûlée. Server said that they must have labeled the trays incorrectly. My husband enjoyed the flavor of the shrimp on ravioli but it was only slightly warmer than room temperature.

There were only about 4 other tables in use in the entire place. Took about a 45 minute wait for our food to come out. The blackened chicken we ordered wasn’t blackened at all. Food was served ice code. We asked for Sweet N Low for our tea and the server forgot we asked. Had to walk up to the bar and grab another person. Server forgot again when we asked for BBQ sauce for our kid. We were almost done with our plates before we were able to flag another server down to get us sauce for our kid. Imagine sitting with a 6 year old that long who just wants to enjoy her meal.
