Excellent! The food, service, and atmosphere were all amazing! We had the dinner tasting menu to celebrate my wife’s birthday. The food was so incredible, fresh, and well presented! We definitely will come back as the menu changes by the season.

First Michelin restaurant in NYC and it didn’t disappoint. The restaurant is laid back into the buildings with no clear advertising adding to its bespoke allure.

While we enjoyed the service and appreciated watching the preparation of our meal, we must admit to feeling a bit disappointed overall. The first few courses were lovely, but we didn’t enjoy the subsequent ones as much. Additionally, the cost for our dinner for two with a bottle sake, & a glass of wine was quite high – around $750 – and left us feeling like we hadn’t truly experienced a memorable meal. We don’t want to diminish the skills and efforts of the restaurant staff, but we do feel that the overall experience fell short of our expectations given the expense.

This review is specifically for the Odo Lounge, a speakeasy gem of a space hidden behind the omakase counter. Excellent cocktails in beautiful Kimura glasses, excellent selection of Japanese whiskey, food menu spans all 3 restaurants. Quiet, romantic, exclusive with dimming light from skylights above. Love it here!

Had the best time. Staff were so attentive, chatty and helpful- food was incredible – you don’t leave hungry (final rice course is basically multiple portions if you want). Made it special with a dessert as we were celebrating. Also the beer is so good, you can’t get it in many places in NYC. Better than most if not all other NYC 1 michelin star restaurants and worth the price in my opinion

Despite a clandestine vibe and handful of seats, this dining room buzzes with diners and in-the-know locals. Low lighting creates a sultry aura and courteous servers attend to the pristine counter with ease.

What a unique hidden gem in the city. The bartender was so friendly and his cocktail were excellent. I could not try the food cuz the kitchen was closed but I would love to visit again!

odo has provided consistently incredible food and service. Each time I have dined there has been a well-rounded, thoroughly thought out, deliciously balanced meal. I could not recommend this restaurant more for their kaiseki lunch, and I cannot wait to attend their dinner seating in the future. Would rate higher than 5 stars if I could.

A little disappointed by the June menu, liked the appetizer, but underwhelmed by the main course, disappointed with the dessert – a Kaiseki course should do better.

Service was outstanding and every single dish was a hit. Typically you have some dishes that are off, but everything tasted amazing. Hands down the best kaiseki I’ve ever been to.
