Our family has been getting our Sushi from this wonderful restaurant since friends of our introduced it to us 4 years ago. The staff here is so friendly and they get to know their customers. We get take away but my wife is greeted everytime as they know who it is when we place our order. I was never a big fish fan until I tried their rolls – now the Rainbow roll is a favorite. I always expect a restaurant to have the occasional bad night but the guys hit it out of the park each and everytime. If you haven’t tried them, give them a try – you won’t regret it.

Service was fast, ordered food and it was ready and fresh in about 10 minutes. Unfortunately the steak and chicken in our hibachi were both overcooked and dry. The rice was okay, and the veggies were inconsistent, with some being soft and some being crunchy. The interior of the building has no atmosphere, no lighting and seating seems to just be thrown together. Probably won’t be returning here for a bit.

This drink tastes like heaven, and the food is amazing and the service is excellent!

Just threw out $13 of the steak/shrimp hibachi. Vegetables were mush, not sure what the steak was but it looked like a pre-package from thinly sliced Philly cheesesteak. Sauces were strange, yum yum sauce was like a glob of mayonnaise. Salad was okay, but for some reason soaked in water before they put it in the styrofoam container. Don’t recommend. If this is what they put out on a consistent basis – I won’t be shocked why they close.

This was by far the most horrible food we have ever eaten. The teriyaki sauce tasted like rotten tomato juice and had pulp in it. The steak was shredded.

Probably my favorite sushi place in the Westfield area. The spicy California roll and shrimp tempura roll are my two favorite rolls here. The price is a little higher than my favorite sushi place (Sushi Don in Lafayette), but it’s still a very good meal for the price.

I’ve given OEC a couple of chances, but I haven’t enjoyed anything I’ve had from them. I had an eel roll and a tuna roll most recently and the seaweed was so chewy I had trouble swallowing, and the only flavor of either roll at all was the eel sauce. In the past I’ve had thier hibachi and I’m pretty sure it was made with steak-ums. I hate to be so critical, but you’d really do better just picking up a premade roll from a grocery store. I will give them credit for very low prices.

This place is great! The price of the food for the quality and amount you receive is second to none. I have tried some of the sushi and rolls, and other places I think have better, but the other food is amazing.

We walked in to give it a try. The staff was very nice. My first concern was the gloves on the cashiers hands were stained. We ordered an entrée and a sushi roll. We sat down and she brought us a pre-made salad still with the same gloves. It wasn’t fresh. My wife chose to eat it but I didn’t. A few minutes later the roll was delivered to the table. Still the stained gloves. The roll looked premade, like it was just pulled from the fridge. It had a finger print in the salmon. I poked at it with my chop sticks and it was mush. We got up and left. We didn’t wait for the rest of the food.
