I’ve been meaning to check out Off Alley for quite some time and it did not disappoint! Love the locally sourced ingredients, the ever changing menu and the love & compassion that goes into the dishes.

Great tasting menu experience here. Very unique combination of French flavors and techniques blended with northwest ingredients and local seafood. The space is right and the counter/bar seating is very neighborhoody. If you have mobility issues be sure to check out the space or call ahead to plan to sit at one of the lower seats. The team here is super friendly and the chef has a refreshing approach to ingredients and dishes choosing to use the flavors as unaltered as possible. We had the parking menu and the chilled corn soup and foie gras ice cream were absolutely amazing. Cool cocktails and interesting wines made everything perfect. Don’t miss this spot!

Interesting improvisational menu. Pnw ingredients + proper, diverse, envolving cooking skills =recurrent visits. Service is not on par with the food currently, but goes fine with the vibe(not very fine dining atmosphere) itself.

Very pretentious atmosphere I’ve ever experienced. On top of that had to pay mandatory 20% tips regardless of dissatisfaction. We were the first ones arrived in the restaurant and after 20 minutes the waitress told that they would run out food so we should order more. I’d like to repeat that we were the first couple in the whole restaurant. Why we were rushed to dine in instead of enjoying our meal. I think they should read their own “ego” sign hanging at the door. I was there for a special occasion at that night and I felt extremely uncomfortable. I would not recommend this place.

If you are a real foodie, come and try this place. The s’mores dessert is amazing. Not super vegetarian friendly, but a lot of thought and love goes into this food. The drinks are pricey but very imaginative. The staff is wonderful. I feel like if they went full on Dutch baby specialty and deserts/drinks, this place could be popping. Be prepared to drop a few bills for 2 people.

I have been to Off Alley a number of times and the staff, service and food is nothing short of exceptional. We are always greeted warmly by the owners and servers when we show up. And they everyone there is super helpful in making menu and wine choices.

Amazing food! Never had barnacles before, but it was delicious. The fatty tuna on brioche and wagyu steak was excellent. It was probably one of the best food places I had in Seattle.

I’ve had several great meals here including the tasting menu and the Sunday “Adult Lunch”. The food is all unique and thoughtfully prepared and the wine is always fun new and interesting. You have to get out of your comfort zone to enjoy yourself here and that’s part of the experience. Come here for something new and different and keep an open mind an realize sometimes you have to pay a bit more for that kind of effort. I’d also like to comment on a few of the negative reviews I’ve seen in here. 1. Don’t give a bad review because you don’t like tipping 20%. That’s just how dining out works and how restaurants have to function to pay the bills and their employees. 2. Also don’t leave a bad review if you didn’t actually eat at the place. The website/instagram explains how reservations and dining here works so don’t blame the restaurant if you didn’t read the instructions. 3. In case you didn’t pick up on the general theme it’s meat focused/themed so if you don’t eat meat this probably isn’t a great fit.
