Stopped by to grab a quick bite and I’m so glad I did! My catfish and tilapia combo with the sweet potato fries, hushpuppies, and that homemade coleslaw was on point! I washed it down with some ice cold strawberry lemonade, but the icing on the cake was the banana pudding!! OMG it’s out of this world DUHLUSHUS! Do yourself a favor and get OFF THE HOOK!

They have just a little hut that you walk up to the window and order your food. I get the fried cat fish dinner. It’s super delicious, it’s always hot and fresh because they cook your food to order. A must try when you’re in small town Swainsboro!

We are camping in the area and wanted a real meal. This place had great reviews and I can see why. That might be the best slaw I’ve ever had. Green beans can often be just a so-so side but these were dressed up with the right seasoning to make them special. So often fish and shrimp are ruined by the oil they carry to the table. Not so here. Her recipes are worthy of note. This lady could be going places. I just wish it was my town. I hope to be back soon.

This place is off the chain. Just a little wagon on wheels cooking up a mess of seafood that is off the chain ⛓️. I think they still have indoor seating in the store beside, you’ll have to ask the owners. Fresh cooked, and the place is clean and immaculate.

Stopped in on our way to Carnesville. I had the sautéed shrimp and fish and my sis had catfish. Everything was prepared fresh and was delicious! Sweet potato fries, hush puppies and fried okra were amazing. Nothing was greasy. All the staff were very friendly and kind. She even left us her phone Playlist so we had music while dining! It’s so funny that you commented on our post yesterday. We happened to be going back through Swainboro almost a year later and wanted to visit you again. Alas, we see that you are not open on Wednesdays (the day of our drive). Oh well. We can try again sometime in the future (we don’t live around Swainsboro). Best fried shrimp in the county! Hands down best service of any food establishment in the city. Make sure to get some hush puppies and slaw to round out a meal. If you’re lucky there’s a jar of hot sauce for sale, don’t sleep on that! They’re only open a few days a week so it’s like a seafood treat!
