Ogden’s is a legit spot to grab some top-tier breakfast or lunch. The menu is no-nonsense, consistently fresh, and packed with flavor. Yeah, it gets crowded – seating’s a bit limited – but the wait usually stays within the 15-30 minute range. They’ve got customer service down to a science here, even offering to take your number to call when a table opens up. If patience isn’t your thing, there’s a coffee shop across the street to kill time, or you can relax in the outdoor seating.

We had breakfast. The chef really put his best effort into making my Denver omelette excellent. Kelly was our Server. She was so personable and made us feel welcome. We love this restaurant. It’s a tiny gem in a lovely part of Madison.

I went to Ogden’s today, and it was fantastic! I had the eggs, hash browns, bread and turkey sausage. The sour dough bread was excellent. My mother had the special which was a omelet with Brie, goat cheese and spinach. She enjoyed it as well. Our waitress was very personable and quick! She made us feel right at home despite having many (possibly all the) other tables. Odgen’s isn’t very big and seemed to have limited street parking so be prepared! Overall, this is a very cute diner and I would definitely recommend it for breakfast!!

Was with some colleagues leaving downtown Madison one morning and were looking for a place to have breakfast on the way out of town. Found this place on Google Maps and with good reviews and it was terrific. I had the one of the specials, meat loaf and cheddar omelet. That sounded weird, but it was one of the best I’ve ever had. My colleagues were also impressed with their food. Prompt and friendly service, good coffee and orange juice. I’ll be back!

Ogden’s has it all; great food, great atmosphere, wonderful service. There’s absolutely a reason when you can always see them so busy, and the staff do an incredible job of turning things around quickly while still making you feel welcome. It’s the perfect place to start a weekend morning! I’ve paid twice as much for half the quality in so many places, Ogden’s is a real treasure.
