Very good flavors from every meat that we tried (pork, beef, chicken katsu, and huli). The sides were great and complimented the meat well. The spam musubi was simple and delicious. The woman who worked the register when I picked up our order was friendly and made sure the order the right before I left. Definitely a place I want to go back to.

Finally, I found a place near our house in Rocklin that’s awesome. Great original food and side dishes. We order some.chickem and beef and side dishes to take take home as place has no atmosphere or ambience. Boring. But the staff was friendly and the cooking area is clean and open and it’s easy to watch the action! There’s other restaurants very nearby and a major retail food store, bank, gas station and other businesses, lighting and safe outside.

For a Hawaiian barbecue restaurant, this place is great. This is not a chain restaurant, so go in and stare at the menu for 10 minutes before ordering. They are used to it. The people who work there are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is nothing special, a great place to eat but not some place you want to take a date.

Really good food and good service, all at really good prices. We tried a combo plate w/ the serious pulled pork, huli huli chicken, and teriyaki chicken. The serious pulled pork is kalua pork and it was moist and flavorful. Huli huli chicken was juicy and had just the right amount of heat. Teriyaki chicken was also juicy and had the perfect amount of teriyaki sauce. The sides were excellent as well. We called our order in and it was ready in about 10 mins. We can’t wait to come back and try the chicken katsu!
