The atmosphere is great, casual and right off the beach. Music was decent , patio seating is a must. Our server and staff were excellent. That being said.. the drinks were watered down and taste primarily of juice. We ordered the Mai Tai and Maui Sunset. We’ve been all over Oahu and Maui..these were the worst. The food was even more awful. I have NEVER sent back food nor complained about a restaurant. The ‘lump crab meat’ dynamite crab rolls were filled with pulverized, overcooked, dry and tasteless. The seafood risotto was overcooked rice in a gravy like cream sauce with frozen tasteless seafood and chunks of almost raw veggies. We had already sent back the appetizer (again something I have never done) and we did our best to eat some of the risotto.

This was the first restaurant we ate at in Maui and it was amazing! I would recommend trying the fried calamari! It was one of the best I’ve ever had!!!! Super fresh!!! We also had the Flat Iron Steak W/ Grilled Shrimp which was full of so much amazing flavor! And we also got the Ohana Poke Trio Sampler. If you love raw fish, definitely try the trio! You’ll get to taste 3 types of fish pokes.

Ohana Seafood Bar and Grill was one of the many restaurants we sampled while in Maui on vacation. The Crab Cakes (not pictured) and Crab Dynamite Spring Rolls were shared between our group and were both an absolute HIT! We all LOVED the appetizers (pupus)! I had the Huli Huli Chicken for my entree (grind) and it was flavorful and delicious! The atmosphere is great.. we sipped drinks while listening to live music. Overall an excellent experience!

Definitely get the seafood. Obviously you’re at a seafood bar so that’s probably what you’re here for, but I got the burger and it was mediocre. Bun was soggy and patty was fully cooked (not medium rare like I asked for) and the thing was a mess. Had to eat with a fork and knife when I was half way through.

Can’t get sushi like this on the mainland. Ahi roll was absolutely packed with tuna. Don’t get the full order unless you are super hungry. Everything else was just as good. Coconut shrimp and onion rings were very tasty. Our waitress was the sweetest.
