This was my very first time eating at this restaurant. It was very clean and I was greeted very warming. Bailey was very nice and he was patient in helping me decide what I wanted to try. There is plenty of variety and prices are really reasonable. The chop were tender and the mac n’ cheese as well as the candied yams were great as well. I got a $5 meal special which includes 3 junior chops, 2 mini sides (which also serves as their $1 sides), and 3 pieces of bread as picture below (with the exception of the other 2 chops & bread). I will definitely be returning.

It’s ridiculously hot In there. Bro could atleast buy a fan. It’s an old taco bell building. I payed $16 low quality fries and the faint sense of flavor on the porkchops. I had to dump hot sauce on everything to get through the meal.

I really like the food until I received my food recently this week and it was sour. I tried to reach the restaurant the same day and to no avail the phone number went to voicemail and voicemail wasn’t set up. I was trying to warn him of the spoilage but I couldn’t. So I called him the next day. The manager asked why I didn’t let him know I told him your phone wasn’t receiving calls. So his next statement was why didn’t you come back to the restaurant, I replied I live to far. So there was silence and i said hello and his response was come back and I will give you two free sides. So I said that would be a big No thank you and we won’t be back and his response was ok and I hung up the phone. Not to cause shade on his establishment but just check your food before leaving the restaurant.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would, the owner attitude is terrible he is rude and disrespectful. I sent my son there for dinner and the owner was talking to him like he was a child He’s (30) not only that the place smell terrible…. please do not waste your money here I am all about supporting black business but this was by far the worst experience I’ve had ever

This guy literally cooks everything fresh! Fresh cut fries, pork chops are tender and don’t touch the fryer til you place the order, sides are made fresh each day…definitely a rarity these days! And he’s pleasant and reasonably priced. A hidden gem for sure!
