Stopped here for some food while visiting Mobile/Spanish Fort Alabama. We were greeted promptly and quickly seated. Waitress took our order and drinks and let us know how long food would be. Drinks were free refills. They serve hibachi, but it’s not a live hibachi demonstration. Overall, the food was great. The fried rice could use some work as it was pretty plain. We ordered the steak and shrimp hibachi (came with soup, salad rice, veggies), kids shrimp hibachi (came with soup, rice and veggiee), kids katsu meal, and a California roll. The California roll was a good size and tasty. Very well put together. The chicken soup and salad with honey mustard was probaly the best I’ve ever had at a hibachi place. The steak was juicy, and the shrimp were perfectly grilled. My son enjoyed his katsu chicken and ordinarily not a fan of sushi, but he tried the California roll and asked for more. The waitress forgot our extra side of fried rice, but she brought it out for us to take home. Im glad I was able to “hook it up my way” at home! I would recommend this place for a quick lunch or dinner.

The server was friendly, but was lacking in experience and made us feel like he was rushing us. The sushi menu has a million options, which wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. The rainbow roll was a little bit lackluster compared to others I’ve had but the sushi overall tasted great. I’d recommend the spicy tuna roll and the green dragon roll.

Had lunch here today. Everything was delicious and well prepared. The sushi rolls didn’t fall apart. Everywhere else we’ve eaten sushi, they aren’t rolled correctly so they don’t stay together. Son got hibachi steak and daughter got chicken. Theirs were very good as well! We will be returning!

Very clean, very friendly. Was served right away, the sushi chefs are amazing. The rolls was packed tightly, did not break apart picking up with my chopsticks and very big rolls. Money well spent and would return for multiple visits

Most of the restaurants in my part of Baldwin County are either pan-Asian (and therefore not very good at Japanese food beyond sushi) or beyond my budget, so finding Oishii has been a pleasant surprise. The sushi prices are a little higher than what I am used to seeing, but it is absolutely worth the extra money because the quality and amount of food you get is quite good. I feel like this is definitely a step up from the “other food plus sushi” type places I normally see in my area.

Great service from a very friendly staff. We went with 8 different rolls and they were all super fresh and well made. Allow yourself some time for the specialty rolls as they are well worth the wait. We got a damn boatload of sushi. Zero regrets.

Great spot! Sushi was fresh and nicely presented. Bento box full and every item delicious. Authentic flavors-especially the miso soup and green tea. Our server Zander was super professional and very well informed about items on the menu. Vey attentive and checked repeatedly to see if we needed anything. He had a great attitude as well! We will definitely return!

The sushi and nigiri were very fresh and delicious. The only issue we had was with a somewhat green server, but he was very apologetic when he would forget something and I am sure he had not been working there for very long. They have an excellent selection of different sushi rolls and everything we tried was oishi (means “delicious” in Japanese).
