Nice and quiet place. I don’t like overly loud places so this was excellent. The food was really good too. All the appetizers were delicious and of course the rolls were amazing too. We were able to sit and chat for quite a while. None of us had eaten at all that day because of a busy schedule so we did order A LOT. Would definitely go back and next time save room for dessert

This is our first and probably our last time at this Oishi Sushi in Willowbrook. Even though everything was fine it was just not that good. It is probably a 3.5 review but not quite a 4 star. Slices of fish was small and yet the rice was huge and very sour. Like they over indulged the rice in rice vinegar so all I tasted was sour rice with fish. Not really great. For the amount of money I paid which was $19.99 for lunch for ACYE, I can probably go somewhere else. It was just an okay experience for me. Service was ok because they didn’t bring some of sushi we ordered and gave us something else that we didn’t order. The best part was probably the ambiance which is darker than most sushi place and it is a bit romantic. But not something I will visit again.

Oishi is my favorite “all you can eat” spot. Charlie, the owner, is incredibly nice and isn’t shy about joining the staff to help serve the customers. It seems like Charlie is always at the restaurant, no matter the time of day. I’ve been coming here for years and never had a bad experience. Once in awhile there might be some crabby customers, but that’s not Charlie’s fault – and he will do his best to make something better.

Overall, this place falls into the common AYCE trap. The amount of rice used in every piece is ridiculous and packed tight. The amount of fish used is minimal, cut thin, and is fresh but low quality in flavor. I would happily pay more to have better pieces but literally every piece of nigiri is too big to eat in one bite. There are places in the city that are 30 a person with bigger fresher fish and less rice. The atmosphere and service were pretty good. The miso was a bit bland but the salad was good.

Favorite all you can eat sushi place! My money is always well-spend there, the servers are always wonderful and welcome me every time I walk in. Every time I see the owner he gets so excited and has a small conversation with me and whomever I go with. Always ask if my meal is great and it always is. I never had a problem so far.

Small place advertises “All you can eat sushi” but gives you three times as much rice in every sushi roll, nigiri, anything to do with the sushi menu. If you don’t finish the rice they try to charge you! All of the appetizers are frozen and absolutely nothing in this place tastes fresh. If I could give it zero stars I would!!
