My first time going to their new location since they left Oldsmar… I’ve always loved their sushi… They had one person running the whole entire floor and the register. It makes for bad service when that happens. The sushi rolls aren’t what they used to be. It was my best friend’s birthday and I was hoping for a better experience from them.

There are several places for sushi in the area but this one is by far the best. The selection of specialty rolls is substantial with great flavor combinations. Everything is always incredibly fresh and the consistency of the rice is on-point. I love that they don’t make you feel bad about making substitutions like some sushi places (I can’t stand cream cheese on sushi). I also adore the veggie soup they serve – fresh, crisp veggies in broth and crispy garlic – I could eat it every day. And it comes with a yummy little side salad! The restaurant is clean and the staff are friendly. I was a little disappointed that their menu was changed (I’m guessing due to COVID and staffing issues) to take away most of the Thai dishes but I’m hopeful that as they recover from these difficult times they will bringing them back. I will be a regular for as long as I live in this area.

Oishi Sushi Bar has a clean and quiet atmosphere to enjoy decent sushi and thai dishes. Their menu range from appetizers, soups, salads, sushi, don bowls, bento boxes, to thai curry. My first visit was on a Sunday afternoon and the service was slow and the wait staff seemed a bit uninterested being there. I noticed that one of the wait staff also was making the sushi I ordered, though she didn’t seem to the usual sushi chef there.

Excellent sushi place! All the sushi rolls we ordered tasted truly fresh. The volcano roll was my favorite. We also had the caterpillar, the Tampa and the spicy salmon rolls. Really fairly priced especially if you go there during the happy hour. Super friendly and pleasant servers! Definitely going back!

Went here for dinner on a Friday night. It wasn’t too busy. Loved the feel of the restaurant, it felt very intimate. It’s smaller than their previous location, but I didn’t mind at all. The decor was nice.

Gave this spot a 2nd chance since last review. Tried the monster roll. Not one actual bite of grouper throughout the entire roll. Just breading with a tiny crumble of grouper. Definitely the last time here.

The place is nice and the staff is friendly but the food wasn’t quite what we expected. The calamari was overpriced for the amount we received and on top of that not good at all. Really oily and overcooked. Their crab Rangoon is not what you would normally expect. They put curry powder in it and that was not explained on the menu.
