Absolutely amazing sushi!! Nice window seat in the center of Powell square. My kids got to sit at the bar and watch it get made. The Hawaiian roll is a must try. Coconut shrimp wrapped in mango and avocado topped with a cilantro coconut sauce! Yummy! One of the best rolls I’ve ever had!

Delicious and fresh sushi, beautifully presented and very nice variety offered. Really loved the tiger shrimp and chicken yakitori appetizers….a must try! Huge portions, friendly and attentive service in a warm and nicely renovated space in d/t Powell.

We had a great lunch here! We enjoyed the salad, pan fried dumplings, spicy tuna roll, and the rainbow roll. They do have a few lunch specials: buy two rolls and get a soup or salad free and also bento boxes.

If I could give this place negative stars I would. I wanted to have a nice dinner with my mom and decided to give this sushi place a shot. We ordered salmon skin roll, omg roll, rainbow roll, and Venus roll. It took more than 30mins to get our food with only 5 tables at the restaurant. When we got our food we were extremely disappointed. The sushi was absolutely disgusting! We’re not ones to waste food so we tried to finish what we could but the omg roll was definitely omg for sure. Omg it was probably the nastiest thing I have ever seen and eaten. We didn’t finish it because it was so bad and once we finished our dinner, we waited for another 30 mins for our server to come back and give us our check. Our server was nice and okay but didn’t really come back that often to give us more water or tea. We told her that the omg roll was gross and she didn’t offer to take it off. We asked her if she could so she went to her manager and they did take it off. This is where it went even more down hill. They told the chefs that we didn’t like the food and many of the chefs and servers kept giving us dirty looks and were laughing at us. Not how you should treat your paying customers. Are we not allowed to have our own opinions? So we left and noticed that our stomachs started hurting. We came home and we had to rush to the bathroom immediately. We got super super sick and even threw up. The entire time we were gaging and had to drink some hot water to cool our stomachs down. Over all would not recommend to anyone at all whatsoever. Disgusting food and awful service.

My bf was finding somewhere to introduce me to sushi & we happened upon this place. We’ve been 6 times in two months bc it’s THAT good with THAT great of service! Prices are pretty reasonable with the quality & flavor. The staff are super friendly & love to chat! -Anytime I’ve gotten sushi from anywhere else, it does not compare! My sushi standards have been set very high thanks to this place. Highly recommend! 🙂

We had a party of four and had a great time. It had a very laid back atmosphere. The decor was lovely. My company ordered handmade crab rangoons, a California roll, Godzilla roll, and Hawaiian roll. I got the scallop, salmon belly and madai sushi. The scallop and salmon belly were amazing! Brianna helped us every step of the way and was very polite.

Visiting from out of town and had dinner for a friends birthday. Fantastic service and meals. Nothing disappointed from the miso soup to the numerous rolls to the fried ice cream for dessert (on the house for the birthday girl). Very clean and professional. Awesome large menu, there is something for everyone here.

I thought that I was too old and jaded to be surprised by sushi. I was wrong. From the perfect edamame and miso soup to the spicy scallop hand roll, and on to the Hawaiian roll – my eyes widened with delight. The sashimi, though, was jaw-dropping. The salmon belly and the Madai make you wonder if you’re still in Ohio, and both were served with actual freshly grated wasabi!!! If you need to feel the enthusiasm of your very first experience of top-notch sushi run, don’t walk, to Powell.
