Lunch was delicious! The chicken was cooked perfectly. The potstickers were amazing. The staff was pleasant, and the restaurant was very clean. They served a nice size portion of food, enough to send me home with leftovers.

I don’t really write bad reviews but the food we ordered last night was awful. The tempura must have been cooked in old grease and cooked too long. It was heavy and dark in color.. I couldn’t eat it because it was so greasy. The pot stickers were deep fried and very greasy as well. The popcorn chicken was tough and dry. The staff was friendly but made it clear that they wanted us to order quickly so they could go home. We arrived at 7:30pm and closing time was 8pm. Being a local I really wanted to like this place but I was super disappointed.

The meaning of teriyaki is, the teri means “glaze” and yaki “to cook or grill”. The food arrived hot and fast. It’s a blend of soy, sugar, ginger and juices brushed on grilled chicken with thick noodles cooked to perfection. The teriyaki sauce is delicious, it isn’t too sweet. You’ll want to pour it on everything. That must be why there is a bottle of it on every table. The customer service was prompt and friendly. The atmosphere felt upscaled and relaxing. This could be a great date spot since there is a bowling alley next door. If the date is going well, you could grab a drink in the bar and play pool or have a friendly game of bowling. Great food, fast service, nice folks. The teriyaki dishes were fairly priced and tasty. Bento boxes were good. Sushi is pretty darn decent for a teriyaki place. Will order there again both for sit down and takeout. They say they’ll have their beer license soon too so that’s a plus.

This is the first time I’ve ever walked out of a restaurant. After waiting 15 min for someone to take our order, and then 45 minutes for our food and then we couldn’t wait anymore. The staff apologized briefly a couple times for the wait, but after no other recourse aside from an explanation that they have only one sushi chef, my party of four decided we couldn’t wait any longer. I would’ve probably been able to wait a little longer on that explanation if we hadn’t seen another table, who sat down 20 minutes after us, get served their sushi. So, the line about there being only one chef is hard to swallow. Super disappointing, since the couple my husband and I went with had been a few times before and had us excited. If I could leave zero stars, I would.
