I never give 5 stars across the board but WOW. Oka Sushi was fantastic! The staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Our waitress helped me pick out a dish I would like and suggested some sushi rolls for me (as someone who doesn’t enjoy sushi it was nice to have the help!). The roll I got was fantastic and the tonkatsu was absolutely worth it! If you’re in the area, this is a must visit. Get the tonkatsu and dragon roll. You will not be disappointed.

Great sushi, ramen and drinks in FOUNTAIN HILLS? YES!!! This busy restaurant, on the corner of Avenue of the Fountains and N Verde River, exceeded ALL of my expectations (mind you, they were pretty low, but wow, was I surprised!). The place was poppin’ but the patio had lots of heaters and we were willing to sit outside, so the wait wasn’t long. While we waited, we were quickly served at the very well stocked bar, and, once seated, were greeted by a cheerful and informative server. The menu was solid, and included a lot of options so anyone (whether they like Sushi or not) could find something delicious to eat. It was a cold night, so all of us opted for Ramen, along with a few cold rolls and some edamame to start. The Ramen was hot (temperature and spice (by choice)) and the sushi rolls were on point. Will definitely be returning to this great restaurant in the heart of Fountain Hills!

The experience all around was great. They do not take reservations as far as I’m aware so take that into consideration if going at a busy time. Otherwise, the Tonkatsu spicy ramen was delicious. Had just the right amount of spice to not be over powering

Started off good, but… House salad and calamari were good. Shrimp ceviche tasted good but hardly any shrimp. Maybe 4 chopped pieces. Katsu curry took a very long time to come out and when it did we had to return it. Chicken was grainy and chewy. Doubt we’d go back.

I recently had the pleasure of trying Oka Sushi for the first time, and I have to say it exceeded all of my expectations. We ordered our food for delivery through DoorDash, and it arrived at our doorstep promptly and still fresh.

Reasonably good sushi. Seared salmon was excellent, salmon sashimi was good, the miso soup was too salty. The atmosphere is interesting but they play the music loudly which interferes with conversation.

Dine in was safe and outstanding. The food was beyond our expectations. Hard to describe it extremely original and by far the best sushi we’ve had in a long time. Everybody there was safe we felt safe did not get sick and really enjoyed the ambience of the open bar and huge artistic screens. Must visit went in town.

Excellent! Amazing sushi and salmon entrée. Highly recommend. Excellent service. They could boost the A/C a bit. Having the bar open to the outside is nice but it was 98 degrees out and rather warm inside.
