Read reviews prior to coming and was looking for a good local place to have seafood. WOW!!!! This place did not let us down. Everything we had was amazing! The conch fritters and fried green tomatoes were served with a sauce, but neither one needed it. It was so flavorful! We got the steamed 1/2 pound of shrimp with Old Bay seasoning. Our chosen sides were green beans and cheesy grits. We also ordered the conch fritters and fried green tomatoes. The portions were huge and well worth the price. $12 for the shrimp meal and $10 each for the conch fritters and fried green tomatoes. Can’t say enough about this place. If you’re ever in or near Lake Okeechobee, this is a must.

Outdoor casual dining. More like a drive in. You go to the window, place your order, then pick it up. Plenty of covered outdoors seating. Food was delicious! We had shrimp & catfish. Hush puppies were great!

Was in the area for the day and stopped by here on a whim. Excellent food and southern experience. Had the dinner combo of gator bites/catfish/shrimp. We also had the pough boy sandwich. Both were excellent. Banana pudding was out of this world!

First time visit. We heard great things about the food. Well, each person has their own tastes. Mine was burnt. Had the hush puppies, clam strips and okra. Okra was undercooked. Clam strips were fried to a crisp. Was all breading. Hush puppies were burnt. My husband had the gator bites, fried green tomatoes and cheesy grits. Bites were tough, green tomatoes were so thin all you could taste was the breading. The grits were okay. I shall not go back.

2/23 My kinda place, eating outside, nice breeze and a hose to wash up with at the end of meal. The meal, Red Snapper fish sandwich, French fíes, Hush puppies, coleslaw, fried shrimp and the best Conch fritters since down in the Bahamas. Fritters came with sweet and sour dipping sauce. Located outside Okeechobee going southeast towards Moore Haven. No bugs with the good breeze, ample parking and good service. Everything was the Best!! $$

Got conch fritters, gator bites, fried green tomatoes, hot chicken wings and green beans, collard greens, slaw and hush puppies for sides. Everything was excellent and fresh. The collard greens were the best I’ve had not made at home. The sweet tea was delicious. The staff were very friendly and know what they are talking about. Well worth every penny. I’ll be going back.

Worst fish experience of my life! The stench of decaying fish hits you upon entry. I foolishly bought a mahi mahi (my favorite fish) fillet anyway. Once baked, it shrank over half its size. The bloodline was thicker than any fish I have seen in over 50 years of fishing, filleting, and cooking fish. Upon first taste, even the whitest part tasted bloody. The fish was obviously not bled properly, and had little care from boat to market. I urge everyone to not buy fish here. How shameful! This experience has ruined my taste for mahi mahi!

This place was great! We came here for the first time and we enjoyed everything we order. The seafood combo with the gator, fish, shrimp and mussels was yummy. I think fries are cut there because they were brown and fresh super yummy, not your regular white bag fries you get everywhere else. Hush puppies had corn Inside and they were sweet and moist. Conch fritters had chunks of conch in every bite, they do have a kick to them.
