Was looking for a Friyay dinner around Hermosa Beach and found Oki Doki (catchy name). Was a pleasent surprise, cozy atmosphere since this was our first visit. Place had many revolving patrons…hence a good sign for good sushi. We also had a japanese couple sat next to us who gave thumbs up since they didnt speak english.

Today was my 3rd time here, not to be harsh just criticizing; but the Sushi is not that great, cucumber salad tasted weird and sugary kinda like lemonade, and the workers are unfriendly. If they had different staff the place might be better, but I wouldn’t go back

Very good sushi restaurant. Good size fish portions, great presentation, and of course, very tasty. The rolls were large, the sushi fish-to-rice ratio is excellent, and the combo/Bento box was plentiful and filling. The price was reasonable as well.

I love this place. It’s a hidden gem. Sushi is excellent, very fresh and the special sushi is always particularly good. The staff is super friendly here from the servers to the sushi chefs. Best of all the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended
