We enjoyed a nice Friday night out at Old Central Firehouse. We ordered a cheese pizza (not displayed on the menu) and a pickle pizza. Both were very tasty. I also ordered a cider. They have an interesting beer tap card system where you end up paying per ounce of beer (which means this gets insanely expensive really quickly), so just be aware of that. It’s very loud in this establishment, so much so that you might wanna bring earplugs or even just get your order to-go during busy hours.

We were intrigued by the pickle pizza, so we tried it. We got the traditional kind as well, the chief. The pickle pizza was fantastic!!!!!! The other was very good too!! The beer on tap was very good. We loved the way they did it. We tried several kinds. There’s a tap wall. Serve yourself. They charge by the oz. When you check out. Brilliant!!!! You’re not drinking a whole glass of something you don’t like.

Was in San Angelo for a meeting. Ate here with friends the last night. Pizza was great. The back patio overlooking the river area was great. And even though I have access to bunches of brew pubs, the beer sampling gizmo — Untappd — was new to me: kind of a beer flight on steroids. What an idea.

The best pizzeria in San Angelo! I absolutely loved it! This was my first time trying pickle pizza and let me tell you that I am now obsessed and trying to find it everywhere (without much luck!), so put this on your list of their great foods to try! The Mediterranean pizza was amazing as well! By the way, they do have several vegetarian options and also tasty fresh salads if pizza is not your thing. The food and atmosphere were great both days I visited and I would definitely love to come back. They were also able to accommodate my friend who has tons of food allergies, the owners were very attentive and caring in this regard!

Pizza needed a little more cheese and sauce…. otherwise worth the price. Way to loud!!! Acoustics all you here is people.Have to yell at a person right next to you. I need to come again to make sure this is a 5, but honestly it’s close enough. Fun atmosphere, super friendly staff and plenty of pizza and beer options. I got the mushroom madness pizza which was good, but put different types of mushrooms on there! Sauce and crust were on point, so seriously what’s the problem? It was awesome! I got the lizard queen gose on the side, HIGHLY recommend. Go, go again, then go again just to be sure. Firehouse pizza is where it’s at
