We were so impressed with the food. The lobster bisque was great, though it was very creamy and the lobster chunks were really big, I would have preferred them a bit smaller so I got a little in every bite. I got the tuna sandwich and asked for the chipotle aioli which was so good with it. We also got the fried scallops which were cooked perfectly. Both were a very decent sized portion for the price, and the atmosphere by the water was lovely.

Quick service. Outdoor waterfront. Great food. An historical location thrown in too! Great combination. Husband said the BEST fried clams and fried scallops EVER. My broiled scallops were good. He wants to make this our regular stop on our way up to Maine now.

We brought two busloads of senior citizens from our local Active Living Center in Henniker, New Hampshire. The plan was to finish the Portsmouth Harbor Cruise, then walk over to Old Ferry Landing for lunch. The plan worked out very well. The Old Ferry Landing staff was ready to receive us. Service was friendly, quick, and accurate. Food quality, serving sizes, and value were excellent. Our group as a whole was quite happy with the experience. Kudos for a job well done in this day and age when quality and service seem to take a back seat.

We got here really early and they were gracious enough to make a table for 6. It was only about 10 minutes to wait. Abbe, our server was efficient, and cordial. They are very proud of their quick ticket times (and should be!) Cup of chowder was thick with large chunks of clam and quarter cut potatoes. A great value. The mussles app. was also fantastic! Lobster 6oz on a bulky roll was $30. Seafood prices are high everywhere though. This was our first visit here and we are excited about coming back!

Had an excellent lunch experience outside on the water. I enjoyed the Cajun Shrimp Po Boy special of that day with fries which was great along with a couple cocktails. Service good, well located on the water, reasonable prices.

This place is always great!! Had a large plate of fried scallops and they were perfect. I did start woth a beer, from their full bar, and a clam chowder. My table was overlooking the water.

Great place to grab a drink and look over the water. We had a fried shrimp app, which was tasty and not dripping in oil. Staff is always very friendly and doesn’t make you feel like you are a bother by being there, unlike some other places we’ve gone.

This is our second time dining at the restaurant for my sisters annual birthday trip to Portsmouth and I have to say if you’re looking for amazing service, refreshing beverages, and quality food I highly recommend OFL! Our waitress Erin was extremely pleasant and went above and beyond to make our dining experience an enjoyable one! Thank you guys we’ll be back!
