Quaint place…not real fancy on the decor, BUT the FOOD is great, well prepared and better than I had expected. I rarely pass through this area, but will definitely consider dining here again because the owners and staff are MOST polite and family oriented.

So glad to discover this restaurant in our neighborhood! It’s a great place to grab a quality dinner with your family. The tone is casual and friendly and I felt comfortable goofing off with my 3 year while we waited for our food. The food is delicious and classic and the prices are more than fair. Plus, they have “Yummy Tummy” juices for the kids which is a big win for us! Highly recommend!

Ate there quite a few times. Found food quality to be inconsistent. One day good. One day not so good.I get take out 3 to 4 times a week for supper since we both work late hrs. Subs expensive and kind of small on the general pizza place sub scale. Pizza is fair. Tonys is 5 min away. A lot better to me and consistent.

Went there tonight with a group of people. The food was awesome and so was the service from the waitress, BUT I will have to say that my husband was not happy cause one of the owners came up to him while I was standing at the register to pay that she wanted our money. While she was standing there before then she was slurring her words, and clearly you could tell she was drunk. We go in there 1 to 2 times a week to eat but my husband doesn’t want to go back now because of this. The food and service has always been awesome but the owner is what ruined it for us tonight. I also noticed how she treated her employee who is always on point. This is the only reason I have it one star was cause of the owner.

All evidence suggests this is primarily a take-out spot, but my date and I decided to dine in. The place is not elegant or fancy, the salad dressing is store-bought portion-control packets. But the food is great, the staff is super friendly, the kind of vibe you get from people who really want to make their guests happy, not a college student painting on a fake smile and reading from a script. You know the kind of places I’m talking about. And they let me keep my beer chalice! I got up to leave and the lady called over “don’t forget your glass, take it home with you!” Great spot.

We were very excited to eat here. The locals rave about it and the reviews made it seem wonderful. We ordered quite a bit since we wanted to try everything. It was awful. The cheese was goopy, our very expensive Sicilian pizza was burnt, the calzones tasted microwaved and the spaghetti was INEDIBLE! When the waitress asked what was wrong with the spaghetti we told her we couldn’t eat it. She just said sorry and ignored us the rest of our stay… Didn’t take it away or offer a refund. Our sons fries were good. It was very expensive and we are still mad about it weeks later. Sumter dining in general has not impressed us at all, maybe this is the best they have, hence the great reviews.

We try to eat at Old Guys at least once a week. We always get great service and the food is delicious. The portions are generous so we get our money’s worth. Our favorites are the wings, baked ziti, salads, & onion rings. Their ranch dressing is made in house and is awesome! Old Guys is a small local business we love to support.
