Quaint little place, service was very friendly, (Amanda) and the time waiting for food was average. Had to ask for jelly, only to find out the toast wasn’t even buttered. I did ask for my hash browns to be extra crispy and they weren’t crispy at all. Food was average, but I will say that this was the lowest price we’ve paid for breakfast in a long time! For a Saturday morning, I was surprised to walk in and get a seat immediately!

I want to give them the benefit of the doubt bc I showed up at 130p when they close at 2p, but at the same time – that meal *really* sucked. I had a burger with speckled butter beans as my side. I took two bites of the burger – the Patty was an old hockey puck that tasted like it had been cooked three days ago. Thick patty that was crunchy…eww. I only made it through on bite of the butter beans: 100% flavorless mush. I am southern and we use salt and pepper at least – usually with a ham or bacon element for flavor. Nope. Just bland mushy beans. Hard pass. Never again.

Their awesome Breakfast is off the chain. Better than Waffle House and Staks in Auburn. Need to check it out, their prices for 2 eggs, 2 meats, small bowl of grits and bowl of gravy, 2 toast or biscuit and 2 pancakes. Everything comes out at the same time hot. Very delicious food ! Refills on our coffees and sodas. Great price $10 or $12.

Waited for an hour and fifteen minutes for our (2 people) food after placing our order.

The food was simply delicious. The only drawback was the noise. We couldn’t carry on a conversation. We left and went somewhere else for coffee. But then again the food was really good.

Got fried fish, one piece was good the other was tough like it was either left over and reheated or kept warm under a heat lamp too long and I couldn’t eat it. Slaw is hit and miss anywhere you go and it was a miss for me. It was grated with a watered down mayonnaise base and pepper. The hushpuppies were good and the red potatoes were the best. I might give it another try

I had high hopes for this restaurant. We were there for an hour and ended up having to take our food to go. The hashbrowns were soggy and bland; the grits were lumpy and cold. The server was nice but was missing half of the time. I wish them the best, but they have some definite improvements to make.

No one spoke to us when we walked in. Did not acknowledge we were there. Did not try to clean off a table for us. Very poor customer service. We have had the food before, very good. And the owner was always nice, I don’t think he was there. Maybe that was the problem.
