The wait for a table…it was long. Very long. You have to stand awkwardly in the busiest part of the restaurant while you wait…unless you wait outside. Hostess was also bartending so the customers were confused about what to do.

Food was alright. Atmosphere was great inside and on the back porch. Service was horrible. Slow is an understatement. We waited over 10 minutes for a check after the waitress asked if we wanted it while she talked about life and everything with the table behind us. Finally a lady from inside came and told our waitress to help her other tables. It cost too much and took too long for cold fries and a decent piece of fish

Great location and service. The food was not impressive. It’s passable bar food. A little tough to find tucked behind buildings off the main street.

We sat out on the back porch overlooking the Kennebec river. We had great views of the river, which was in flood stage. I had a turkey Panini and my wife had a Reuben sandwich, both of which were excellent, and the price was quite reasonable. The photo is from a nearby pedestrian bridge, which goes over the river, looking back at the restaurant, perched over the Kennebec.

Wonderful place to eat! It has a nice atmosphere and a beautiful scenic seating spot outside by the river. 10/10 would recommend

We look forward to visiting a few times in the summer! We especially like nice days to advantage of being able to eat on the riverside deck! Neat little place with great views and really good food. We do try to avoid the peak times because it’s a smaller place, which is part of the charm and quite popular, so can be busy. Our waiter today was very good as well.
