Great place to eat, and everyone was really nice. We had great service and everything was really clean. The food was just like I remembered it being so many years ago. My husband and I used to eat at the first location that was across town when you guys first opened up. Every time we come back and visit family, we all eat here. The sweet tea is on point, and it was nice and cool inside despite the 112° heat. The only thing that made me sad was the sticker shock that we got when we got our bill! There were 5 of us, and our bill was like $110.00⁉️ 2 of us ate a burrito only, and one of us was a 1 1/2 years old, so yes, we were stunned. Plus, it wasn’t even dinner time? Mexican food is one of the cheapest things to make, so I just could not justify the price?! Where we live, we could have eaten at Olive Garden cheaper than here?

I gave this place 2 chances. Service was great, don’t get me wrong, but the “homemade ” chicken fried steak tasted frozen, bland and chewy. Then breakfast was bland as well.

This was a strange one for me. We honestly heard good things from some fellow coworkers in the area about the food here, which wasn’t horrible. I got the brisket barbecue fajitas. Which kind of summed up the whole place as a strange Texas BBQ / Mexican infusion of some sort. It’s basically fajita meat and vegetables just swimming in barbecue sauce that I guess I was supposed to eat on a tortilla? Frankly none of us thought that any of the Texas BBQ options were very good, just average. One coworker got the regular beef fajitas, and that was actually the tastiest thing anyone got. I guess you’re going to go, stick with the more traditional Mexican food options. Aesthetically, from the outside, from where I come from in Portland, this definitely would have been a strip club. Boxy building with no windows and really no markings of mention. But even the good ones around here have big flashy signs and really let you know where you’re at. Anyway, this is not that. The Stanford was nice enough, if a little unattentive, and who I assume is probably the chef/owner was running around quite a bit and making sure everyone was relatively happy, better than the rest of the staff. I hesitate to say anything really negative about it, cuz they’re really wasn’t anything super bad. Everything was just okay and I would give it a “meet’s expectations” at best, but nothing more. Certainly is was cool enough and a pleasant break from the 108 degree heat outside!

We showed up around 2pm so the place wasn’t that packed. Sat down immediately and got served chips and drinks pretty quickly. I ordered the Buffalo crispy chicken salad and do NOT REGRET IT! SO delicious. Didn’t feel too heavy. Served with sole ranch on the side. Highly recommend going here. Good luck going during busy times.

This was not a great experience at all. The plate that I ordered was supposed to be the three enchiladas plate. What I received was 3 tortillas stacked on top of each other with a load of red sauce. The refried beans looked and tasted overcooked/dry, and the rice was extremely dry. I gave 1 star for the chips and salsa and 1 for the really nice wait staff.
