This is a wonderful restaurant in Harrodsburg, honestly it’s the best in Harrodsburg. The chef makes southern down home food but we’re not talking a pile of grandma’s food (though there’s a time and place for that too!) but rather a real discerning meal. We had the grilled salmon and blackened chicken Alfredo. The salmon was cooked properly and had good flavor without overpowering spices. The Alfredo had an excellent consistency without excess oil. The chicken was very tasty. My favorite part was the surprise homemade caramel sauce on the ice cream though- delectable. We had an excellent meal on the patio around other good company in the small but comfortable space. Enjoy!

We had the yellow tail chicken, very good, with green beans and mashed potatoes. Also a nice bottle of wine.

Great food! Premium bourbon list, but call ahead if you have your heart set on tasting something specific as they were out of some. Dixon was very friendly and welcoming! Awesome place to sample bourbon without the travel and touring. The atmosphere is cool! It definitely feels like a tavern!!

I was with a group doing a barrel pick at Wilderness Trail. Five of us were able to be seated without a wait on a Thursday night around 7:00. Our server was great. She was friendly and helpful. We started with a country ham plate, beer cheese and pretzels, chicken nachos, and tavern fries. All were delicious but my favorites were the country ham plate and the beer cheese. I had the classic Beaumont Inn meal. It is a fourth of a chicken, country ham, and a choice of two sides. I chose corn pudding and green beans. It was fantastic. All of our meals contained very generous portions. Everyone was happy with their choice. I don’t remember what everyone ordered because I was too busy savoring my meal. There was a wrap, shrimp & grits, and 2 I forgot. I took a piece of banana cake back to my Airbnb. It was amazing. You will be full but take dessert home with you. Our cocktails and pours of bourbon were great. My only suggestion for the restaurant is to update their bourbon list. I had to go through 4 listed before I found one available which really is a problem in the scheme of things. It was a great meal with good service in a cozy setting.

This is my 6th time to come in the last 4 years and I have nothing but great food and service every time. I ordered the Special. Flat Iron steak with some type of chipotle sauce on top plus whipped potatoes and corn pudding. I finished the meal off with a slice of Banana cake a la mode.

Always a pleasure! We especially like the outdoor seating as it is a little quieter when the restaurant fills up it can be pretty loud and hard to converse.

Good old-fashioned restaurant with good drinks and great food, and I will definitely come back when I’m back in town. The drinks are great, and the service is excellent also.
