A gem in Huntingburg, IN. The Sunday breakfast buffet is a traditional no frills, home-cooked treat! I’m not a huge scrambled eggs diner, but the scrambled eggs here are light and fluffy. Don’t skip the biscuits! Just don’t; they’re THAT good. I also appreciated basic peel your own fruit instead of a fruit salad that’s been sitting out. The “cuties” were perfectly ripe and easy to peel. Bananas were also available. I nice cup of fresh black coffee completed my delicious breakfast.

We were on vacation and couldn’t find a single local spot open for breakfast Sunday morning, so we expanded our search a bit. When I saw Old School Cafe & Bakery pop up, I quickly checked out their reviews and told my husband and my dad we were going a little bit further (only 25 mins). We are SO happy we did!

Super cute cafe! From the old school bell on the door, to the exposed brick and old school diner chairs, this place fits the name. Anna our waitress was super attentive, friendly and you can tell she loves her job! The food nothing short of amazing! Truly a hidden gem in Huntingberg Indiana! Will definitely be back!!! ❤️

Fun, eclectic and charming. How a very delicious Reubens with onion rings. Top notch! Reasonably priced. The owner, server, were charming and welcoming. I would highly recommend this restaurant for breakfast and lunch. I hear the desserts are tasty too!

While traveling from Michigan we stopped in at Old School Cafe, I ordered the Stilwell burger and onion rings, my wife ordered the Rueben and soup – EXCELLENT! Everything was to perfection. Service was fast and our waitress was very pleasant.

Best food that I had in a long time. Very friendly staff. Going step extra to make sure that you are satisfied. Friend of mine asked for diet coke and they didn’t have it. After 10 min owner shows up carrying diet coke. Customer service is unbelievable. I would give them 10 stars.
