What can I say, the food was excellent. I had the chopped chicken sandwich. The meat was flavorful (and the portion was large). The side of green beans were great. The iced tea was strong and well-brewed. I highly recommend.

I’m sorry to say. But I’m a die hard risk it for the brisket gal. And I have tried a lot of barbecue places. This is one place I will not return to. The brisket was dry yet soaked in grease. Tuff and chewy. Seemed old or reheated. The barbecue sauce had a taste of pancake syrup and the potato salad was very different. The sandwich combo is ruffly 14 bucks and the drink is a 16oz. I removed one of the spouts from the fountain drinks “wow”. If u want ur moneys worth and good brisket make the drive to B &B on south side. It’s not a perfect 5star but it’s close enough for San Antonio area.

Not bad. We just moved from Houston where barbecue is abundant and prices are fair to outrageous but almost always the meats are goooooood. $19 for a pound of sliced beef. Asked for a little moist/fat. He trimmed it up pretty decent but on a closer look it was still more fat I received than sliced beef. Smoke ring ok. Taste, flavor was good. $15 for a pound of pork shoulder, meat had a nice flavor but a little hard and dry mostly. Well I tried at least once. Everyone was nice. Give them a try

Ok brisket. Pretty dry and flavorless, as you can see from the picture, not much of a smoke ring. Sweet tea tasted like raspberry, very strong and unexpected. Pintos had a super strong tomato flavor. Coleslaw was really sweet.

Just brought my order home almost 80 bucks he only good things were the sides. All the meat was dry and hard even what was supposed to be moist. Stay away unless you want overpriced beef jerky.
