I was really glad to see they had opened up, and this place has lots of potential. I’ve been here a couple of times and staff seems friendly. They’ve had foods I liked, (fish taco appetizer, but it was on the border of being spiced too highly) but generally, they over-charge for most everything on the menu, even mediocre pub food. As a restaurant, overall, I’m not impressed enough to go back on a regular basis. Fried fish was greasy and lacked flavor and garnish. FYI: If you just want a single side of fries with your meal, it will run you 4 bucks.

We stopped in for a quick dinner on a Sunday night. Which I was a little nervous about because sometimes they are quite busy. But it was a normal activity night. Who I can assume is an owner, she seated us right away where we wanted to sit and all night long people were just pleasant and the food was good. Very home town feel.

The food was yummy, especially the cream of crab soup, the service was kind of awkward. The people were friendly but they didn’t make a cohesive team. A manager came around to refill our waters and poured water into my friends ginger ale. My dish was made with the one item I requested to be removed, but they did fix it and it was very tasty!

This place had good potential.. great atmosphere I hate to be that person but our crab dip was JUST cream cheese. When u say no crab meat there was ZERO. We didn’t mind because it was late and I’m not picky! I got a BBQ chicken flatbread where the chicken tasted like it sat out for a week. Our waitress told us that the “handhelds” were subs so when we got a wrap we were very confused.. chicken was dry on that too. We did appreciate the chef coming out and checking on the restaurant! We also loved the live music and the atmosphere it provided. A little work and this place will be the new happening spot!! We will come back and hope it improves 🙂

This place is the old Dean’s. The menu is small and a little expensive, there are some seasonal items like fried green tomatoes. They do have good happy hour specials (4-7, 10-12am) like $8 fish and chips, $8 burgers and $5 chicken nachos. The food is good but for the price, it could be better. For some reason, the food always takes forever to come out of the kitchen even when it’s not crowded.

Not a bad restaurant, although completely empty when I came in the waitstaff seemed mostly capable and the food was decent, with the highlight being the French fries.

Had a terrible experience there once when they first took over as old Towne grill and chalked it up to growing pains. Returned last week to take my mom out to dinner for crabs and it was trash. Service was terrible (like uneducated staff scrambling but not actually doing anything) we were asked if we wanted drinks by two different servers and didn’t get the drink from either until I went up to the bar and ordered myself. When we finally got our crabs (reservations for 6pm, arrived at 530 and ordered the crabs again at 545) at 645 they were ice cold. You can tell when crabs have been refrigerated after cooking and these were obviously dumped onto a tray from the fridge. The lightest crabs I’ve ever had and I was suspicious if a few were even of legal size. I wouldn’t give this place any more of my time. There’s better bars and crab places not much further away.

Great food, great service, great prices! This joint has some of the best homemade flat bread pizzas and hamburgers in the Hampstead area. Drinks are cheap, the bartenders are extremely nice and attentive, this place can’t be beat!
