To start with the salad bar had lettuce greens that where wilted and brown. The hush puppies that was brought to the table was burnt but the girl said sorry but the hush puppies are a little burnt and left them on the table anyway. What??? I ordered the special baby flounder and shrimp with a baked potato. The potato was so cold it would not even melt the butter. The fish on the plate was 3 pieces the size of a small cat fish nugget if it was even that big. My husband had the senior catfish filet that had 2 filets on the plate and my 3 little pieces of flounder together was not equal to 1 piece of his fish. The shrimp was the size of very small salad shrimp with bits of hard cooked flour mixed in. I informed the manager at check out I want be back. I told him a few things about the experience and he did say he was sorry as he was taking my money for the meal. Seriously?????

The food was seasoned just right. I would eat here every week if I didn’t live two hours away. I will definitely be stopping by any time I’m in the area.

Okra was hard, onion rings exploded with grease when bitten into, deviled crab was burnt on the outside and under cooked inside, we didn’t eat much, just paid and left.

The flounder was fried perfectly, but had no seasoning. I realize that flounder should not be heavily seasoned, but this was less than normal. The crab cakes were excellent. Salad bar was ok for a side dish. The sweet potato was perfect. The restrooms were clean. Service was very good and all of the staff members were very hospitable.
