Great food and exceptional service! We had breakfast and everything we ordered was delicious. The waffles were amazing – light and fluffy and no syrup needed! Wish we would have found this place earlier in our stay in the Alton area for Bike week. Would recommend to everyone We’ll be back next time we’re in the area.

Went for breakfast this morning. Extremely bad service. We were seated and a person dropped off our menus. Not even a polite greeting. I ordered the Irish Benedict. Came out cold and the english muffins was soaked in butter. The hash was the worst thing I have ever had. Waitress never stopped to ask how things were and I had to stop her and ask for more coffee. Paying bill wasn’t any better waited patiently for her to collect the bill and credit card again needed to stop and ask if we have to pay up front. At the time we went it was not overly busy. Just disappointed is the whole experience. Do better!

Food was pretty good, staff was nice but I was freezing the whole time. I know it’s tough to keep a place warm with people opening the door so often but it made for an uncomfortable meal. There were three of us and everyone enjoyed what they ordered and we stayed and chatted for a while after eating and we didn’t feel rushed or like they wanted to out. It wasn’t terribly busy so it was nice to sit and chat for a while.

Really disappointed in this place. Online hours and website list open until 9 pm! My daughter was so excited to have pancakes for dinner for her birthday, we went on a wim, living nearby and they close at two? I called right before we arrived and a man very shortly told me they aren’t open past 2, while all of the sites say 9 pm this threw off our entire day. UPDATE YOUR HOURS IF YOUR CLOSING 7 HOURS EARLIER if I could title this review it would be “really annoyed and never returning”
