So they moved down the road from their old location by Food Lion. Buffet is much smaller and fewer items. The decor is nice, and furniture is in better shape. The experience could be so much better with a little work. The buffets are not set well. The salad bar is too close to the wall, and the canopy makes getting items difficult. It really should be switched with the dessert bar. The hot bar should be moved out from wall and farther from door to the kitchen. Steam from table condenses on they canopy and drips on you as you get food. Now the food. Salad bar is really good. Everything was fresh and good. A few more items would be nice. Hot food was disappointing. Everything lacked seasoning. You can salt food on your plate but it is not the same as when it is cooked with it. The food was fresh and looked good, just needed a little more attention. The only thing with seasoning was the fried chicken that had way too much pepper. As we checked out the lady ran my card and thanked me, but never asked if I wanted to leave a tip. I was not sure what to do as she had completed the transaction. I really hope they can make a few adjustments and they could do really well.

Let me tell y’all something, listen up good now. This place is the cat’s meow. It’s the jam in my jelly donut. All you can eat for 15 bucks and 10 bucks a pound to take it to the house. Folks running the place are as sweet as a Georgia peach and I live right across the street. I’m thinking about a divorce now, ain’t got much need for the ol lady anymore Y’all check em out and don’t forget to leave a like for the good direction

The I had was cold, no taste. Fish was soft in the middle and everything had little or no seasoning. As far as opening another buffet I would secure top notch cooks. Mac and cheese is just that and not macaroni and cheese. Music playing is ok but entirely too loud. For the amount of cost of your meal I would appreciate at least hard plastic plates and real silverware. The Arnold Palmer is nowhere to taste like one. Finally, you may have the location but no way what JACKSON’S.

Hard to live up to Jackson’s, we get it and were not there to compare. Not much to choose from. Food was hot and seasoned okay but rushed out. Fried chicken was cooked outside but not the inside. Chicken livers were mushy. Dressing and sweet potato casserole were undercooked as well. The macaroni and cheese was just that, macaroni and cheese stirred together and cheese melted on top. No flavor whatsoever. Collards just had a strange taste. Even the soda was hot and flat.

Smallest “buffet” I have ever been to. The meatloaf was pink on the inside, the fish was “okay”, with no tarter sauce offered. They had some tiny little shrimp (in butter water) that you could barley poke with your fork (because they were so small), and no cocktail sauce available for this either. The desert bar was very limited as well, with about 4 small squares pieces of a few different items. It looked like they were working with VERY LIMITED funds. When I went to check out, the cash register was also not working. The cashier was manually entering your credit card information into her PERSONAL cell phone to run the transaction. The whole experience was underwhelming. Would not recommend, would not return.

The food I had was good. I enjoyed the meatloaf and fried fish, fried green beans the most. Staff was friendly and there was plenty of food choices.

I have read a lot of people have enjoyed this restaurant so I gave it a try. As I paid to enter I asked if they gave seniors or veterans a discount. Bom, they had one. Once inside I noticed that all the buffet tables were the same as the previous Chinese Restaurant. After my choices, I was able to taste the food. Most of my dishes were not quite up to my loving. I know there are a lot of people that really enjoy this place so maybe my selections were a different country taste than what I am used to. Positive dishes were fried chicken and wings, butterbeans and fish that was an unkown variety. The chicken salad, potato salad and other premade salads were not to my liking. The pork chop was a maybe along with the vinegar bbq. The mac & cheese was too much cheese on top and too congested on the bottom. If you love sugar, there is a tremendous dessert bar that I avoid. I’m sure some will love this place but I didn’t at 1:45 on Friday. BTW everyone was friendly.
