Upscale restaurant that has great food and service. King’s cut prime rib was one of the best I’ve ever had, really huge cut with proper amount of fat and meat. Seafood platter was also good for two persons, high quality lobster tail, shrimp and scallops. Complimentary bread was cornbread type, fresh and tasty too. Will definitely go back.

I went for my 18th birthday with my parents back in 2021, and it was a very fancy restaurant, and the food was spectacular. I had the stuffed shrimp and it was so good. It came out piping hot. I highly recommend this place if you have an anniversary or any special occasion, you like to celebrate and you want to splurge a little bit and dress up.

$6 for a fountain drink is ridiculous. My family member was asked if they wanted a little bacon and cheese on baked potato. They said sure but little did they know that it would cost $6. You get what is advertised as a salad. It is a small plate of lettuce drowning in dressing. The food was cooked in so much butter, within a few hours of eating, family member and I were sick to stomach. I had to take the stuffed shrimp out of the bowl and put on plate and that is when I saw about an inch of butter laying in the bowl. Service and the dessert was fine but everything else was such a disappointment. Was so looking forward to celebrating a special occasion here but no one asked was there celebrating anything. Would not be back again. I have no problem paying for good food and service however not overpriced and mediocre. Asked for sweet tea and was brought unsweet tea with sugar packets that sugar was clumped together.

The flounder stuffed with lobster was outstanding and the filet mignon was mouth watering good! House salad was good and dessert was a great finish to a lovely dining experience!

This place has excellent service (I’d say in the top 5% of the ‘burg) and very high quality food. Do expect to pay for both of them, they don’t pretend to be “bargain” priced that I saw, and they definitely aren’t.

I have looked forward to eating at this restaurant for a long time. Everyone l knew that had been there loved it. The prime rib had a reputation of being the best! For appetizers, we ordered the Shrimp cocktail, and Escargot. The shrimp cocktail was fantastic.. but the escargot had so much garlic it overpowered the dish. I love garlic, but the amount was nuts. The salads were mostly made of iceberg lettuce. What upscale restaurant still uses iceberg? My husband selected the blue cheese dressing and the prominent ingredient tasted like dill. The waitress just smiled and shrugged her shoulders, saying it was homemade and occasionally they got carried away with things. I ordered the smaller serving of the prime rib, which was over 10 ounces. It was cooked to perfection and looked mouthwatering. The au ju sauce had a faint taste of the prime rib, but it was so salty l couldn’t eat it, and l love salt. Some members of our party ordered seafood, and they said the dishes were good, not great, but good. Great company so we had a good time, but definitely won’t be returning.

Very nice atmosphere for an intimate setting. Host was very attentive and accommodating. The Ny strip steak was cooked to perfection. The cream spinach wasn’t creamy more watered down than anything. The bread rolls were addictive!

This place was our family go to for special occasions, which is why we held my dads 88th birthday there over the weekend. Food prices have increased significantly, and food quality has decreased to the point of absurdity. Our salads were literally lettuce only, soaked in dressing. When we questioned our waiter, he laughed and confirmed it was terrible. The seafood was overcooked (except for scallops which were delicious ). Steaks lacked flavor and were tough. The shrimp cocktail at $18 was served with ketchup. The atmosphere was dismal, dark and Christmas tree still up in July. And our waiter was unpolished, forgot drinks, sides and would disappear for long periods. We won’t ever go back, and if you’re looking to spend over $50 per person, recommend you go elsewhere.
