My husband and I loved everything about the place, and the food was amazing! Plenty of options and I loved the overall atmosphere. Don’t listen to the negative reviews on this platform. It is pathetic that there are trolls who like to try to ruin local small businesses as a hobby. Tracy, the owner, is NOT a scam artist for selling things separately for goodness sake. She treats her employees better than she treats herself. If you want perfectly cooked, 100% juicy beef burgers, then look no further. Oldies is the place to go.

Stumbled upon this place. If you want an old fashioned burger cooked to perfection in an ice house atmosphere this is place! Our greeter/cashier “Jewel” was just that. She greeted us as old friends. The chef (manager? ) checked on us after we received our meal. Perfectly done burgers – we opted for tots and they were crispy, hot and tender. Please do yourself a favor and check these guys out!

I waited over 30 minutes for my order and lunchtime after my order was labeled as call My order just sat there. The quality of my burger was terrible and it was the wrong order. cheese only and I got mustard. I’m allergic to mustard, so there goes my lunch break.

I stumbled upon this gem a couple weeks ago, and I’m still thinking about their super tasty burger!! I got one with bacon, cheddar, an onion ring, and some steak sauce, and it was exactly what I needed. Cool spot with friendly staff, and the place happens to have FREE BEER Thurs-Sat?!?! How can you go wrong with that?

Burgers are handmade. Not your typical fast food pre-formed burgers. Taste is great, staff is super friendly. Hours in this mid-summer heat may not be as posted. Call to check. It will be worth it!

The menu is incredibly overpriced. All burgers are between 15 to 20 dollars and that’s without a side or a drink. Everything is alacarte. There is no air conditioning even though it is an enclosed space and in Texas that’s no bueno. The service is standard but it’s clearly family owned because the woman at the counter was smug and eating her own burger while taking our order. While you wait and sweat you also get to read the signage that states what is not tolerated there behavior wise, and that the reserve the right to throw anyone out. No need, I saw myself out. And won’t be back. Dairy queen across the street is definitely the way to go.
