The diner is small and themed in the 50s, lots of interesting things to look at. The food is classic, homemade diner food. We have had their burgers to go in the past, but today, we ate in. Our server was very personable and helpful. We ordered the smothered chicken dinner and the B.E.L.T. burger on rye bread. The broccoli salad I had as a side dish was absolutely delicious. I haven’t had better since my mom passed. I highly recommend trying it! The burger was ordered by my husband, who said…”The best burger I’ve ever had.” We usually get their omelets or mushroom swiss burgers to go…all delicious! I highly recommend their burgers!

This little diner has great food! I haven’t been to a restaurant in 30 years that had homemade fried mushrooms! They were so good – real fresh mushrooms fried with a little coating of batter. My breakfast scramble (you can get it all day) was excellent (they even substituted over easy eggs for me) and my husband enjoyed his patty melt (fatty patty). I’m so glad we discovered it on Groupon and will definitely be back! The prices were all very reasonable.

Good food relatively speaking for the type of mom and pop style restaurant that it is. Our server was very friendly. The grilled chicken dinner with mushrooms, onions, and cheese was tasty and not overcooked. Interior could use with some updating, looked very worn and outdated. Men’s bathroom was in complete disrepair with the flooring completely falling apart and the urinal was out of service.

Loved it!! The atmosphere, the workers, the locals…top notch!! Food is definitely made from scratch!! We had a wonderful lunch and will be going back often to complete the “Burger Challenge”. Didn’t feel rushed or hurried. We will see you all again soon!!
