Great little find! Wonderful New Mexican food, very busy when we went around supper time so expect to wait for your food. But it’s worth the wait! Delicious red chili- I’m sure the green is heavenly but it’s too spicy for me. Got the stuffed sopapilla- everything was seasoned perfectly. Mom got the taco plate- it includes a bag of chips and a cup of salsa. Will definitely go again!

There’s literally no room to eat it’s so small and packed, 4 of us had walked in and had waited about an hour for our food, only got checked on once and had to wait a whole other hour for her to finally bring us our ticket and to go boxes, if im being honest this place shouldnt even be open, i had to walk outside to the window twice for her to finally bring us our ticket!

Went for a row go order. Watched several people order after me. I was there 55 minutes Waiting on it to go order a small order too wasn’t even much I could have made it at home and gone to the store by the time they got it ready. And when I got it it was horrible it was so bland had no flavor and then I ended up throwing it up in the middle of the night. When I asked lady at the counter when our order would be ready because it had been so long she said oh some of our orders take 45 minutes and just laughed. I will never go there again nor will I send anyone there.

Disgusting food. This was our first time at this restaurant and we were so let down. We read the amazing reviews and wanted to support local businesses but my goodness this restaurants food is bland, dry, and literally went directly into our trash bin. The taco shells are from Walmart and are not cooked but stale. The ground beef and chicken is flavorless. The beans were bland and dry, as well as the rice. Literally the best thing on our plates was the tomato and lettuce. The salsa was made with some strange smelling chili and was bitter. We will not visit this restaurant again when we stay in Ruidoso. We were very unhappy with our experience. The best Mexican food in Ruidoso is Garcia’s Mexican Restaurant while Jorge’s is second… unfortunately Jorge’s was closed today (Wednesday) and we wanted to try a different restaurant other than Garcia’s because we have eaten there so many times during our trip already. Anyways, good riddance.
