My husband have frequented here for date nights when we lived above the canal and it was always our favorite place to go! We have since moved but came up with our three kids to have a nice dinner for my birthday. Just as we remembered, the food and service were top notch! They have a small kids menu that isn’t printed but we are glad they had something available for our one picky eater! There was no high chair available but our toddler was fine in the booster seat there. Everything from their freshly baked rolls to their delicious sangria is to die for! I can’t wait to make it back up!

Best Sangria and the good is always fresh made and delicious. Great staff, happy to walk you through the menu and experience. Great for couples and groups. Love the small plates, and the paella is a great group/family meal.

Ordered paella de mariscos (seafood paella), berenjena frita (loved the eggplant), parrillada argentina ( loved the flank steak, chorizo, not so much the chicken breast and pork loin). It was delicious and satisfied all 4 of us! Would definitely come back!

Located in strip mall off the highway and you think it will be blah inside, but WOW! What a suprise! It’s like you’ve entered Aladdin’s cave with such fun decor and a great ambiance! Our server was Guillermo and he was absolutely terrific. We love tapas and have had it other places (including well known high end tapas places headed by celebrity chefs) and the food at this restaurant was the equal of any we have had anywhere. We were here as a family but this would be a great place for a date night as it lends itself to an intimate atmosphere. If you appreciate tapas, or just want to give it a try, you have to try this place. This is a real jewel of a restaurant in Newark.

My husband and I went for only our second time. Everything was amazing and our serve Scott was awesome and funny. I highly recommend that you go to Ole Tapas if you haven’t yet. I can’t wait to go back and try the latin menu and the steaks. The wine was amazing and you get to bring home what you don’t finish from the bottle. So that’s a win.

The food was delicious. We sampled a whole bunch of tapas, my favorite was definitely the empanada. The ambiance of this place is warm and inviting and relaxing and even a bit romantic. I went with a friend, but I could also see it be a great date night place, as well as a girls night place.
