Great food, service and atmosphere. Our only complaint was that it was very warm inside. The best home fries I’ve ever had! My veggie omelet was very good and my husband tells me that the french toast was great.

Great place for that cheap and delicious diner breakfast. Omelet will fill you up. It has become my favorite morning place.

My husband & I spent this past weekend in Pittsburgh & discovered this little gem! The food was absolutely delicious and we loved the little window seat up front! We both ordered an omelet with cheese, loaded with tomato, sausage, bacon (big chunks & all hand cut!), hash browns (perfectly seasoned & crunchy!) and a variety of toast (soaked in butter!). Deborah (our waitress) was just the sweetest lady who took such good care of us! She greeted each & every person who walked through their door which was so refreshing! In fact, all of the people working there (sorry we didn’t get their names) were also very friendly and made us feel so welcome! We liked it so much that we went back the next morning for breakfast! You can be sure that when we visit Pittsburgh from now on, we will DEFINITELY be going to O’Leary’s for breakfast. Thank you!

Hands down my favorite diner ever, and one of my favorite Pittsburgh breakfast spots! It has such an awesome nostalgic vibe; it always transports me to a different time that I wasn’t even around for. The staff is phenomenal, friendly, and they stick up for themselves. The food is incredible, the price is affordable, and I don’t know what they put in their salsa but it’s the BEST.

This place was unreal. The food was amazingly inexpensive (e.g. the grilled cheese was 2$ BEC 3$). You get to see the kitchen so you know it’s clean. It feels like a family run breakfast spot and it’s so inviting. The staff was great and the place had a long line for take out. It’s not ritzy, but has a family charm. The walls could use a scrubbing…but other than that a great spot.

Wow. A step back to better days. Best place I ate while here, saw lots of real folks joining me. Great service, even better food, prices from the 1990s. Will return!

Great breakfast counter place from years ago, and most importantly the prices are from years ago. I think everyone working came to interact and check on us during our first visit. Family based and caring, one of the few of it’s types so come and visit!

Definitely a place to check out if you haven’t been here before. Home fries were delicious, sausage and bacon was cooked really well. Portion size was perfect. My over-medium eggs had a bit runny whites, and the rye bread wasn’t very impressive.

Good location for breakfast in Pitts. Friendly staff.. Plenty of options. Our fav was the Greek omelet with Turkey bacon. Didn’t like the old chipped mug. Cash only, ATM inside.
