We happened upon this location. I really wanted to eat at Nikki’s Place, but they were closed. Glad to find Oley’s, which is nearby. The service was slow, but the restaurant was really busy (and there was only one server doing everything – so the slowness was understandable).

This was our first visit and I must say the staff was nice & placed me at ease. I ordered the turkey wings & my wife the liver & onions. Lets just say I was taken back by the wings as they looked like smothered neck bones or small ox tails. The presentation of the liver & onions was nice, but lacked seasoning & the greens had a little too much vinegar that left an after taste. Again, this was the “First” visit, we will give them one more chance. I almost forgot – they have that pink lemonade that takes me back to my childhood days & the frozen cup lady!

I have tried this place on multiple occasions and every time I say maybe they have changed… No!! I ordered 2 catfish dinners. She opened the plates so fast I assumed it was catfish. It wasn’t catfish at all more like a knock off catfish. I know catfish and that wasn’t it. The second time I got the small oxtail dinner, cost me $21.29. Wayyy too overpriced for this plate. The lady that takes the orders isn’t welcoming either.

Oleys never disappoints! Sooo much flavor in this plate! Everything was on point My soul needed this plate this Sunday afternoon. Highly recommend! I had a combo platter with a perfectly fried pork chop, delicious jerk chicken with rice and peas, crispy okra fried to perfection you already know the collard greens were poppin!
