The food was good. Salt, however, was the dominant seasoning in the flavor. I will say, though, this place is better than most Mexican restaurants I’ve tried in San Antonio. I enjoy and appreciate that everything is homemade right down to the chips and salsa, and the other salsas they offered. Their menu is small, but reasonably priced. There is room for improvement, but I would still come here again.

Gave this place 2 stars because the people were friendly and the food portion was good. However, food tasted horrible, drinks and salsa tasted very watered down. This place is not authentic mexican food in any way. won’t be returning!

I like this small restaurant. The food is good, fast service. Be aware, next day I was checking my purchase and there was $2.11 extra charge on my debit card that was not on the receipt. I called the restaurant and was told they did not add the $2.11 to the bill. I called the bank and was told Olivias did add the $2.11 to the bill. I understand the need to offset credit card charges but TELL the customer. Update… I ate here again and the bill was given to me by the waiter. Nothing was itemized, it was just a piece of paper with a total amount hand written. It seemed higher that it should be. I ask the cashier to add up my food items again and the total was $5 less. You draw your own conclusion.
