Our first visit and we will be back soon. Like their comfort food offerings and value pricing for quality and portion size. Service was excellent. Liked feel of the space and just the right lighting. Food was presented nicely as you can see from attached photos. Puzzling they were out of lemonade at 3:30 on a hot Saturday afternoon on College World Series weekend in Omaha. I liked m, chicken fried chicken, but used to the kind that is tenderized/pounded out versus a whole breast filet. Would suggest they use a larger plate to serve this entree and not bury mashed potatoes under the meat. Could have used a bit more cream gravy to start with. Still in early weeks after opening. They will figure all of this out. Glad they are here!

I have enjoyed the place in Papillion and was excited to see this open so close to me. There is something on the menu for everyone. The food is always delicious, great atmosphere, reasonably priced, and the staff is very knowledgeable and friendly.

We arrived at 5pm. No wait for a booth next to the bar. Our server was polite, but seemed nervous and unsure. Our food took a long time, which our server alerted us to by saying that everyone was still learning, including the kitchen. We were not in a hurry and waited. The kids Mac and cheese was overly cheesy. The salmon and risotto was edible, but it came out room temperature and the risotto was a bit gummy. In fact, all of our food was luke warm at best. The truffle fries appetizer was good.

Decent place, will come again. Raspberry lemon drop was very good, Brussel sprouts were amazing.

Overall was just meh, another post pandemic failed restaurant. I have been to the papillon location several times in the past and overall the service and food has gone downhill with each visit. This was my first visit at their new location. Service was slow and the server was also the bartender.

My family of 5 went to the One Pacific Place location for a birthday dinner and our collective first visit to Ollie & Hobbes.

At The first visit, I ordered a salad for a very decent price and the crew was able to make a dietary restriction quite easily. Very very crowded. We were a medium sized group. I was impressed with a friend’s roasted potatoes and pork schnitzel dish though I could not eat it due to a restricted diet. I ordered a scrumptious blueberry bread pudding to share with friends & It was plenty good and could be shared easily. The second time I arrived for lunch, the hostess told me they did not take reservations. I had time to wait for a friend and so walked around the area for 30 minutes. When I returned, a friend of mine approached the hostess and said he was giving up his waitlist. Why didn’t the hostess tell me up front, “We don’t take reservations but you can be on a wait list?” That simple phrase would have saved me a 30 minute wait. Way too crowded. Not good vegetarian options. Inconsistent and new. I’ll give it time. Perhaps, they are better for groups. Too robotic at this point though rolling ‘em in.

I have eaten at Ollie & Hobbes twice and food was awesome both times (once at lunch, once at dinner). For both experiences the service was on the slow side but the waiter and waitress were both very friendly, just seemed like they were short-staffed and busy. For the dinner experience, we were on the patio and there was a group next to us that was very loud, drinking and cursing so that wasn’t great but no fault of the restaurant. Definitely will be back here. Food and drink was well priced and we hit about $50 for 2 adults with 1 drink a piece which is great for the quality of food we had. I would recommend trying the Salmon, risotto and Brussel sprouts, so yummy. Give Ollie & Hobbes a chance, you won’t regret it!

Honestly, you HAVE to try this place. I absolutely love everything on the menu, and my family is able to pick anything, even our pickiest one. They have great drinks. If you go during their happy hour you can get their discounted drinks as well. Plus, they have great patio seating. Have recommended this to all of my friends

Immediately got “glorified Applebees” vibes upon walking in, but that was a misjudgement because the food and service were both worse. Was told 10-15 minute wait for a table, asked for an update after 40 only to find that they wrote our phone number down wrong. Things were back on track after that until my chicken sandwich came out and it was so rubbery I only took 2 bites. My wife enjoyed her French dip well enough and our waitress was nice which saves me from rating even worse but I don’t anticipate we’ll be coming back any time soon.
