I have been coming to Olympic for 6 years. Olympic has good food. A warm friendly atmosphere. Great place to go if hungry after church. The food at the salad bar is always fresh and buffet. Of course you can always order from the menu. The catfish dinner, liver and gravy are great meals a couple of my favorites. Every Sunday you can get dressing with gravy and cranberry sauce, peach cobbler. I am still on a holiday kick . Great place to dine in.

First we walked in and nobody to greet or seat us for 10 minutes. Only 3 employees working. The pizza was expensive and not very good. Can tell they put as little sauce as possible on the pizza. Was not worth the $65 we spent. The only bright side was how friendly the waitress was and how well she treated our tale. Do not recommend.

Not good. The only thing on the Sat night,seafood buffet that was good was boiled shrimp in shell. The stuffed crab, fries were overfried. The backed fish was ok but tiny, the okra was greasy. The salad bar was good . The catfish? So thin there was hardly any catfish inside the breading and most if it was overfried. Sad I brought an out of town guest there. We mostly had salad and banana pudding for our dinner.

Went to get buffet. Arrived at 1:15. There was 6 pieces of fish 3 pieces fried chicken 3hard rolls. Asked for fresh bread never got it. They never brought out fresh food. There buffet goes till 2:30. At 1:57 they asked if we were going to get anything else for buffet. I told her there’s no food to get. Then they broke down the buffet. We will never be back.

I guess I’m gonna be one of those people tonight. Olympic Steak & Pizza – Oakland was an absolute DISGRACE tonight. My sister (not on Facebook or else she’d be on here) has a house full of family from out of town and called at 5:00 to place an order for two pans of pasta and salad. She was told by the gentleman on the phone it would be ready in 15-20 minutes. She sent her teenage son up there to pick it up and by 5:45, he was STILL sitting there waiting to pick up the food. My sister calls and is told it would be 5 more minutes. 15 minutes later, he still sits there waiting. My sister calls back and asks to speak to a manager. She’s told she’s speaking to the assistant manager. She tells her the situation, the assistant manager tells her “yeah, I see that your ticket went back at 5:05, I’m not sure what is going on.” My sister asks if they are busy tonight, and the assistant manager says no! My sister asks if Olympic will be doing anything to make this right, and the AM says back to her, “Well, he already paid.” Are you serious?! He paid with cash. Take the money out and give it back! She said she has to get approval to issue a refund. Proceeds to not do it. Meanwhile my nephew (who has been sitting there for an hour now) says that the staff there are making fun of the numerous people waiting, laughing, and not caring one bit about what is going on. My brother in law ends up going up there, and the actual manager REFUSED to come out and speak to him. We get these family meals at least once every two weeks. Never again. It’s not the long wait for the food—it was the horrible customer service and lack of ONE apology.

The waiter was sweet but she got a couple things wrong. I know no one is perfect but these were pretty simple tasks that anyone can do. She forgot that my grandmother and mom wanted to share a plate so she brought them two separate meals. Once we were served we didn’t see her again not even for our check. We had to go to the register and wait. The food at least was good.

The place is clean service is ok but the so called buffet is not a buffet let alone a seafood buffet only seafood they had was imitation crab and they charge $17 for a 2 year old to eat but at least our water was free for a family of 6 came out to be $100 not including the tip ridiculous you need to expand the buffet and your dishes the salad bar was bigger then the buffet jeeeze do better Olympic steak and pizza if I could post with bo star I would but I had to check at least one to post

I only ate at this place once and it was good, but I really only go here to purchase their Greek seasoning. This seasoning can’t be beat. I use it at home primarily when I cook ribeyes on the grill. I carry this with me whenever I go to Outback Steakhouse to use on my steak there. HIGHLY recommend this seasoning.
