Ordered some rice and Naan for my dinner. I wait over 25 minutes to get my order, just a small rice and 2 garlic Naan bread. I had to go up to the counter and ask when they started calling orders that where after me. Very loud and messy environment. The worst part is I got home and when I opened the plastic bag I could see a black hair in my rice that still has the plastic cover on. Beyond gross. I want a refund.

I like the ambiance of this place.Even though their food disappointed multiple times we revisited several time.Last visit we ordered chili-paneer and kachori. Panner was fried and was not only extremely spicy but also hard to chew.The Kachori wasn’t the actual kachori but the puri with bhel inside it. It was difficult to break into pieces.We spent money but had to go home empty stomach as we couldn’t eat. Kids couldn’t eat either as it was extremely spicy. I used to recommend this place now I am not sure. They do have good variety of sweets and snacks which we have been buying and we do liked it.

Food taste is ok. We went on Tuesday for Dosa promotion. It is self service. First we ordered and wait for picking food. Later we are trying to find seat. That time only realized that many are occupying seats without food, we had difficulty to get seat. Also our order is messed and didn’t get what I ordered. Since it is very crowded, no one is ready to service calmly.

Today went to Om Indian Bistro <08/16/2023 12:30 PM Lunch> with a couple of friends. Waited in line for 5 minutes, and the previous customer who already placed the order still talking about personal stories with the billing person . They were discussing for more than 5 minutes about some other personal stories and our line of customer increased 5 to 6 members waiting. I asked him can you make it fast and tone from the biller is very bad and said if u want food wait in the line else go to different restaurant . He refused to take up my order. The next person in the line who asked the same question to the biller and he said the same thing go to other restaurant if you dont wait in the line. I am one of the regular customer for this restaurant for more than 5 years and the biller who knows me lot well But I did not expected this bad customer service / bad behaviour. I know he is not the owner of the restaurant and he works there . I am still wondering about this rude Behavior from Om Indian Restaurant and not sure why this kind of rudeness to customer. Every one want to have some good time in the restaurant . Please server the good food instead of serving bad customer experience / bad behavior.

We had food at Om a few times and had them cater for my son’s wedding. They did an awesome job and our guests are raving about the food. They did an awesome job of managing the buffets at the wedding and had a bunch of live stations for social. They catered for three events ….two typical South Indian and one North Indian….allow them were mouth watering. Check them out.

I was infuriated by their service and attitude. I had ordered their Tuesday special Dosa, which they charge $14.00. They give a teaspoon of Coconut chutney, tomato chutney and Sambar. The Sambar tastes and looks like it has been diluted with water and barely registers any taste. In any case I have Dosa mostly with coconut chutney. Given that they barely have a teaspoon of chutney I requested additional chutney to which I was told because of demand there is no chutney. If a restaurant can Charge $14.00 then they need to tell the customer before hand that they are short on items. Also given that this business has been around for quite sometime ( and patrons for good reason have given it only 3.6 rating .. should be less for their cheap disgusting attitude.. skimping on accompaniments like chutney) and they don’t make sufficient qty of accompaniments or act cheap to prepare or provide proper service ? Seems like they have an attitude they will be bankrupt if they can provide a sufficient qty of chutney or accompaniments ? Really disgusting and bad Customer service. Also coming home I realized that I felt I was feeling gaseous.. which indicates that they are using most likely a lot baking powder. Avoid this place.. all they care is about Money it seems to me.

We’ve been to this place a few times. One lady in particular is extremely rude. We got an uncooked dish, when asked politely she starting shouting loudly and said we can either eat or throw it. It was very embarrassing the way she created a scene. Shouting at customers is not cool.

When we visited here Last time a month back, we liked it. we ordered garlic nan and paneer curry. It was ok. Chats were not at all good. We again went last weekend and ordered vada pav and dabeli. Vada pav didn’t have any taste. Dabeli was stale and not at all like dabeli
