Rarely do I take the time to write a review unless it ruined my day or made memories forever, and this time, it made memories forever. Best meal I’ve had in NY. The flavours were mind blowing (seared king salmon, wagyu, o’toro were my favourite) the staff was attentive, prices made sense. Get the 17 piece omakase, enjoy and thank me later. Just note that they are not BYOB no more and have a nice selection of sake, beer, wine and champagne to choose from.

we had the seventeen course omakase and it was amazing. the courses were really distinct and I loved watching them be made. the first course with roe on an oyster, the king Salmon, and the wagyu were super great. the tuna hand roll at the end was stuffed. we left super full. I really liked the yuzu drink. $130 per person

Amazing 17 piece omakase experience for a very reasonable $135, one of the best sushi places I’ve been to.

Fantastically fresh sushi from Japan — the food quality is top notch, as is the service. Had an unbelievably good meal. But the ambiance leaves a LOT to be desired… Feels more like an all-you-can-eat joint than an omakase restaurant, with paper towel dispensers and sinks in visible sight, and drab (slightly depressing) lighting, to name a few visual flaws. If they could upgrade the design and decor, this would be an EASY 5 stars.

Everything you want in omakase and more, the sushi was exceptional – the fish and wagyu melts in your mouth and is clearly of high quality. The chef and staff are very friendly, they even gave us two free glasses of wine after we mistakenly ordered the wrong wine. My boyfriend said “I could die a happy man after this meal”. Highly recommend!

Finally made it to this amazing restaurant. My friend and I did the 12 course tasting menu for $95. The first bite was great but it kept getting better and better with every course. One of the best food/restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. I highly recommend you get at least one hand roll. It’s another level of deliciousness. And the service was phenomenal. The chefs were so friendly and sushi artists

Went for lunch and did the 12-course omakase option. Every piece was super fresh, unique and delicious. Favorite part was the interaction with the chefs who explained every piece and the ideas behind each one. Highly recommend as a great low-key spot for dates or dining solo!

Small place with nice decor and friendly chef. Every piece was standard piece you’d expect at a NYC Omakase restaurant. $95 for 12 pieces was solid price point

Ordered the 12-course set and everything was perfect. My favorites were the Chutoro (“fatty tuna” – had ordered an extra one a la carte! ), King Salmon, and Shrimp. Uni and Wagyu were also impressive. The service was very good. Can’t wait to go back!

Came here for lunch and ordered the 17 piece omakase and it was delicious! The fish was really fresh and you can see the chef preparing it right in front of you. I liked that on some pieces they would add on other elements to compliment the fish and create a more unique taste.
