I feel fortunate to have found this gem of a restaurant during my brief stay in Norfolk. The ambience was trendy. The service was exemplary. Kate was attentive. Finally, the menu was perfect as it offered variety of delicious farm friendly meals. As a vegan eating with a non-vegan it offered a variety of choices for both of us. My only critique is that the cauliflower steak could be a drop firmer but it was still out of this world.

It’s like having dinner at somebody’s house. Very small and intimate, but you’re not stacked on top of each other. Our server, Chris, was great And very knowledgeable about beer. Many other dishes served around us looked very appetizing and wish we would have had room for strawberry cake. It came highly recommended from a regular.

We liked what we had. Will definitely go back. Mezze platter app was great especially the iberico and blue cheeses. Drinks are floral. Not really Moroccan but international; dishes could have some salt; rice could vary between dishes. Cauliflower steak was impressive. Dessert was great – loved the bread pudding and the German chocolate cake rocked. Service was very friendly and attentive.

This review is overdue. I have eaten here dozens of times in the last few years and never had a bad meal. It’s casual but special and elegant but not expensive. The owner is involved on a daily basis and it shows in the details. The food quality is always great and there are always new things to try. One thing that has stayed on the menu for a long time is the potato chip encrusted flounder which is a must try. It’s the lightest possible frying and it’s always good. Many of the staff have been there for many years. The service is always on point, attentive but not overbearing. I’ll be back again soon.

I love this place – so cool. Really quality, incredible, fancy food that is not over-priced and does not feel pretentious, but just overwhelmingly pleasant. The building and atmosphere is so so so cool and feels special, service is attentive, helpful, and friendly in all the best ways. The food was great, and I would love to come back again – the menu feels very fine-tuned after so many years of testing, and there was really nothing that I didn’t want. It’s hard to put a finger on what exactly type of food it is, it’s just fancy and awesome in all the right ways. Highly recommend; I will definitely be recommending my friends and looking forward to coming back again.
